00:00 Well, I'm sure the Minister will be aware that he has been raised because of the T2 and T3
00:06 in connection, because T2, the north of Benmain, has lost a very important business,
00:11 and also Myfyrwyr and the Hyd, that way that goes to learn in the villages, because of the T3,
00:17 we have seen places like Llanuwchlyn and Llandderfell losing out on the very important connection
00:23 to the people of that community. Now, looking at your document, your National Transport Delivery Plan
00:31 for 2022/27, under 'What we will deliver' - BUS - under section 59, I'm using English, it says
00:39 'Strategic approach to service design, we will also consult on any future changes with local
00:45 authorities and user groups before we're making major changes'. Well, the T2 and T3 users of the
00:52 bus, and anyone else, are looking forward to seeing that those changes are considered as
00:58 'major changes', but there is no consultation at all with local authorities, bus users and anyone
01:04 else regarding the changes. I would like to ask you, do you think it is right that the
01:10 Welsh Government has not consulted with bus users and those communities, and how do you look
01:17 at the people of Garmdolbedmaun, Llanuwchlyn, Llandderfell and others, being fully consulted
01:21 on what is needed on this? Well, can I just first of all apologise to the people of Garmdolbedmaun
01:29 for the interruption that there has been in their bus service. TFW have been working with
01:34 Gwynedd Council for some two years, planning on changes to the network to provide better coverage,
01:41 in fact, on the corridor between Cynarfon and Blaenau Ffestiniog, and it was decided
01:46 to supplement the T2 with another service, the T22, which would in fact operate from the village
01:53 and offer similar journey times. Now, unfortunately, Gwynedd Council had real difficulty getting
02:01 the operation up and running because the electric vehicles that were needed couldn't be mobilised
02:06 in time and the charging stations couldn't be got online. So as a result of that, there'd been a
02:11 slight delay in the T22, the new service, coming online. In the meantime, the council had provided
02:17 alternatives, and I'm pleased to say the new T22 will come into service on 12 February and will
02:25 serve Garmdolbedmaun on six return journeys a day between Cynarfon and Podmadag and Blaenau
02:32 Ffestiniog, and it will also enhance frequency between the common sections of the route between
02:37 Cynarfon and Podmadog to Awerley. So there have been some hiccups there, for which I do apologise,
02:45 and I hope people understand why that has happened. We have worked very closely with the council. I
02:50 think it will produce a much better overall service for passengers and hopefully increase
02:57 passenger numbers.
