00:00 Vice President Sara Duterte has accused the people of money in exchange for signatures for the People's Initiative.
00:07 In a statement, she said that this is a reflection of the love of politicians who bought votes every election.
00:14 This is a sign of the poverty of the people and the lack of respect for their right to make free, fearless, or influential decisions using their own money.
00:28 It also reflects the lack of care of politicians in the real situation of ordinary Filipinos.
00:35 Duterte also reminded Filipinos that it can be an exchange for their support when signing something that has a serious effect on life, freedom, and the future.
00:47 As of now, more than 700 cities and towns have signed the People's Initiative. To support this, all 253 legislative districts should be able to sign from 3% of their voters.
