Police say search-and-rescue crews hiked, snowshoed and skied nearly five miles to bring lost skiers and snowboarders to safety.

00:08 Police say 12 members of Killington Search and Rescue hiked, snowshoed and skied approximately
00:13 five miles in frigid temperatures to assist in evaluating and bringing 21 people who were
00:19 lost back to safety.
00:21 Once out of the woods, those rescued warmed up in the fire department's rescue truck and
00:25 team members' personal vehicles as they awaited their rides.
00:29 As the rescue team was ready to clear, they say they received an additional call for two
00:33 more skiers who were lost in the backcountry.
