00:39 In her letter, Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte said

00:44 that the increase in the tuition fees and other benefits such as overtime pay is already being studied.

00:51 Historically, for non-teaching tasks performed outside their regular working hours,

00:58 teachers are only compensated through service credits.

01:03 In the next budget cycle, DepEd will be proposing a budget that will enable us to grant overtime pay to our teachers.

01:12 Tomorrow, DepEd will issue an order to remove administrative tasks from teachers

01:19 and to focus on teaching.

01:22 The 10,000 admin personnel for this will be full.

01:26 VP Sara also noted that almost 4,000 classrooms have been built

01:31 to address the shortage and more than 6,000 are being built.

01:36 As a contribution, the President assigned Vice President to lead DepEd.

01:41 The President's choice is to continue the reformation of the education system in the country.

01:46 She is making it easier to compensate for the damage and construction of classrooms across the country.

01:57 that their ability should be increased as the center of the reformation of education in the country.
