00:00 >> I was kind of aware of it when I first got here, but
00:03 I didn't truly realize the significance of the rivalry until the football game.
00:10 Me and a few teammates, we drove down to Stanford for the football game and
00:14 we saw how crazy the atmosphere was, how crazy everyone was.
00:18 We was in the student section and minutes before the game clock ended,
00:23 everybody's prepping to storm the field.
00:26 So it was like, yeah, we're going to storm the field.
00:27 And just seeing all the students' excitement, even parents, everybody,
00:31 you had grown people down there on the field just super excited that we beat
00:35 Stanford, taking pictures and celebrating.
00:38 And I knew then the true significance of this rivalry.
00:42 >> Did you go on the field?
00:43 >> I did go on the field.
00:44 >> What was that like for you?
00:45 >> It was fun.
00:45 I never got to do anything like that for football.
00:49 So that was my first time experience and it was fun being with my teammates,
00:53 being with some of the student body, storming the field, taking pictures,
00:57 dancing, hanging out with some of the Cal football players on the field afterwards,
01:02 just celebrating that win.
01:03 >> So you kind of get the big game now?
01:04 >> I get the big game now.
