00:42 closer look at the brand new scream greats killer clowns from outer space slim
00:45 I'd like to once again take the folks over our trick-or-treat studios that did
00:47 provide the sample we could have a look at he is though the tallest not only the
00:51 killer clowns but also as well the scream greats we've looked at so far to
00:54 slim actually stands if you can believe it or at nine and a quarter inches in
00:58 height or the figures 23 and a half centimeters tall nothing funny about
01:02 killing loved ones but here's what the figure looks like with the Michael Myers
01:05 from 1978 Halloween a figure who was tall at the time you can see how much
01:10 smaller is when you compare him next to slim other figures I guess we speaking
01:14 of slim might as well bring in as well another killer clowns here's what the
01:17 figure looks like with shorty shorty and slim two clowns of two completely
01:21 different sizes here's also what the figure looks like with farmer Vincent
01:25 from the motel hell from 1980 and we also just recently looked at here on this
01:29 channel here's also what the figure looks like with the candyman farewell to
01:31 the flesh candyman parting my puns but shorty came up short when it came to
01:35 accessories the same can't be said for slim the figure comes included with this
01:39 little cotton candy gun actually when we end up looking at fat so here on this
01:43 channel I think he also comes include the exact same cotton candy gun I think
01:47 that in a case like that if they're gonna give us two killer clowns from the
01:50 same wave at least one would be nice to include say the cotton candy gun the
01:54 other one may be being the popcorn gun but still nicely very decoratively
01:58 detailed you can see just how much color and paint how much work and effort
02:01 really went into molding casting and then painting the cotton candy gun it
02:06 does though wield in his hand although it only really is carried in this hand
02:09 the other hand is more of a gestured hand so if you try at all just trying to
02:12 get the cotton candy gun in there it's not gonna work it's gonna fall on the
02:15 ground and you're gonna get really sad what you're gonna want to do instead is
02:18 don't be sad you're gonna take the cotton candy gun and attaches very
02:21 securely into his hand it's not gonna be going anywhere of course the figure does
02:24 have pose ability but goes without saying of course when it comes to the
02:27 territory of these screen grades the articulation is gonna be query quite
02:31 limited I'm gonna remove at least the gun for right now I'm sure it's probably
02:33 gonna make an appearance later on when we get down to the final looks for the
02:36 figure but we don't want to rush things just yet having a closer look though at
02:39 slim boy boy what a nice-looking figure this is now he isn't I said earlier when
02:44 we were looking at say shorty that I thought all the figures were gonna get
02:46 kind of this pearl esque treatment I know so with fat so at least from seeing
02:51 him in the packaging they seems to have a slight similar sheen slim doesn't on
02:55 the other hand seem to have that what he's done instead they've painted
02:57 instead sort of more of a matte finish white it has still again the calling
03:01 cards of what you'd expect a killer clown to have so very large cheeks this
03:05 one actually does also benefit from having a smile so you can kind of see
03:08 that personal hygiene isn't really high in the list of killer clowns the teeth
03:11 are really quite yellow also I've noticed here on mine at least I don't
03:15 know if it's just looking at it with the way the lights hitting it but it looks
03:18 like there's a little bit of a yellow smudge right there other than that
03:21 though the paints really nicely done here for something as small as his eyes
03:24 get a good look of those little beady little devils there the eyes are so tiny
03:28 and yet the paint is painted so well on these figures one thing I did also
03:32 notice here with slim I don't know if it's just my own eyes but it seems to be
03:36 like there's a little seam line right there on the front of his nose am I the
03:40 only one that sees that maybe I maybe I need to clean my own eyes other than
03:44 that though like it's a really nice-looking head sculpt it's a lot
03:46 shinier obviously on the back of his hair than what it would have been the
03:49 case with say shorty shorty seemed to have more of a matte finish paint he
03:53 went a lot shinier when it came to slim he also has these little knobs of hair
03:56 that stick out from the top of his head they actually kind of look like little
03:59 joysticks really all in all a nice-looking figure from from the figure
04:03 down though one thing I did notice though about slim is he's a lot a lot
04:06 lighter than you would probably expect you'd look at a figure like this and I'm
04:11 only just using the comparison because we just recently have a look at it why
04:14 don't bring candyman candyman funny enough though is a heavier figure of the
04:18 two slim even though he has a bigger body he seems to have a more hollow body
04:23 as this basically is more hollow plastic which is fine I don't expect them really
04:27 to use a dense plastic for every finger figure release we've gotten so far from
04:31 screen grades but I did notice though when it came to let me just move him off
04:34 to the side it is those when it came to slim though his body was a lot more
04:37 hollow and again I'm okay with that very nicely sculpted body though he's got the
04:42 collar piece now the thing with the collar though is we'll talk more about
04:45 when it comes to pose Billy on this figure obviously it's gonna do away with
04:48 altogether the notion of being able to rotate his arms all the way around it
04:51 just is it's just not gonna happen because the way it stretches across the
04:54 top of his torso it basically makes then rotating his arms null and void I mean
04:58 they all they can still hinge out we'll talk more about that in a moment little
05:02 touches of detail I appreciate is the fact they also went in there and painted
05:05 the individual nails even though he only has three fingers and a thumb he's
05:08 missing but is that the piggy that stayed home no that's the one that we
05:12 went we we all the way home so there's no we we in pig at all you're only
05:15 getting again three fingers and a thumb nicely sculpted and painted the way they
05:20 did the crescent moons they alternate obviously top and then as you go across
05:24 top middle and bottom they alternate the direction that they're facing and again
05:27 those are nicely sculpted and painted well as well the thing I really like
05:31 also about the figure is the fact that for his size he stands really well one
05:35 thing he's also done to in a case like this and that might have something also
05:38 to do with why they decided not to make him a heavy plastic if you can actually
05:42 see it well one foot is completely flat and his legs straight down the other foot
05:47 and the other leg actually has it on an angle and actually this foot is only
05:51 flat from the front the back heel actually sticks up despite that though
05:55 the figure doesn't have any wobbling issues at all so if for example you had
05:58 farmer Vincent and no it's like his figure wobbled just a little bit slim
06:03 doesn't have any of that problem it may have also just something to do with the
06:06 fact he has much larger clown feet may have also a lot to do with as well the
06:09 fact that they didn't use as heavy of a plastic to produce him because like I
06:12 said he doesn't really wobble at all for the figures articulation though the head
06:16 is going to be once again on a ball joint so you can rotate the head all the
06:19 way around head looks down and up but it's gonna be a little bit more limited
06:23 and while you're doing this you want to make sure you don't put your fingers
06:26 against these as these are ones that are very easily squishable don't squish
06:30 these whatever you do now again for his arms the one thing about the arms being
06:34 the design of this particular costume sure yes they can come out at almost 90
06:38 degrees I would say well very tight tight quarters I would only probably
06:42 only say about 45 degrees but that's really where unfortunately the
06:45 articulation stops you can move the arms back and forth this way but just because
06:49 again like the amount of color that he has occupying here you really can't
06:52 rotate the arms all the way around the hands do swivel back and forth so that's
06:56 nice to see he has no articulation obviously for this part of his body very
07:00 bell-shaped very much bigger at the bottom here a little more tapered off at
07:04 the top he has no articulation also in his feet his very large clown shoes so
07:09 again like it goes with the territory that we've covered so far with these
07:11 screen grades once again you having really only again a ball joint for the
07:15 for the head hinge joints though for the shoulders and then swivel joints for the
07:19 hands and again we'll just slide over here slim bringing the earlier looked at
07:23 shorty boy these nice-looking figures I feel like slim probably could be a
07:27 little bit shorter I mean I'm not not complaining at all the fact we get such
07:30 a tall clown like this when you also seem as well stacked next to fat so that's
07:35 so when you seem compared along with fat so you'll see as well like I think he's
07:40 proportionally size it just so happens to be the case that we're just currently
07:42 having displayed next to shorty who so far is the shortest of the killer clowns
07:47 we've looked at really despite his size slim still manages to pull a $34.99
07:51 price over on trick-or-treat studio site all of the screen grades that we've
07:55 looked at so far except for one have all been $34.99 anybody want to take a guess
08:00 without actually cheating and looking on their site which figure is a little bit
08:03 more someone would have guessed maybe farmer Vincent I would have guessed
08:06 farmer Vincent but actually no it's candy man candy man unlike being the
08:11 others of $34.99 he's actually sitting at $39.99 I think maybe a lot of it has to
08:16 do with the amount of plastic and weight they put into the figure because even
08:19 though slim is a taller figure he's actually got more of a hollow body and
08:23 probably one of the reasons why he goes for $34.99 if you're obviously
08:27 collecting killer clowns you can't just be getting shorty and stopping there
08:30 you'll be happy at least to know that all of at least this first wave three
08:34 out of these figures have all been killer clowns we've already looked at
08:37 shorty we've then followed it up with slim we're gonna be wrapping up these
08:40 reviews with that so I don't know why I laugh every single time I say fat so all
