00:17 Because of the cold wind, we can still have high chances of having light rains in the eastern section of the Philippines.
00:26 While in Metro Manila and the rest of the country, we are expecting a clearer time,
00:32 aside from the chances of light rains or thunderstorms caused by the cold wind.
00:38 At the moment, there is still a small chance of a possible storm entering the Philippine Area of Responsibility
00:45 in the next 3 to 5 days.
00:49 And for the weather conditions here in Luzon,
00:53 because of the cold wind, we can still have high chances of having light rains in the eastern section of Luzon.
00:59 So in those regions of Cordillera, Cagayan Valley, and in the provinces of Aurora, Quezon, and the whole Bicol region.
01:10 For Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, generally, fair weather conditions are what we are expecting.
01:14 We can still have light rains or thunderstorms brought by the cold wind for the next 24 hours.
01:22 In the Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao regions,
01:25 here in the eastern section of Visayas and Mindanao, we can experience a chance of rain,
01:30 and that is also caused by the cold wind, particularly in the regions of Eastern Visayas,
01:35 in the Caraga region, and in the whole Davao region.
01:39 For the rest of Visayas, rest of Mindanao, and also here in the Palawan area,
01:44 we are expecting fair weather conditions, partly cloudy, until cloudy skies,
01:49 and there is still a chance of thunderstorms or light rains brought by the cold wind.
01:55 And let's go to the sea conditions today.
01:57 At the moment, we still have high gale warnings in some of our country's cities.
02:02 Here in the seaboards of Southern Luzon, in the areas or cities of Camarines Sur, Catanduanes,
02:08 in the area of Albay, Surusagon, and also in Masbate, which is the Ticao and Burrias Islands,
02:15 there is also a high gale warning in the southern coast of Occidental Mindoro,
02:18 southern coast of Oriental Mindoro, in the island of Romblon,
02:21 and here in the area of Palawan, Calamian, Cuyo, Calayaan, and Cagayansilio Islands.
02:30 In the area of Visayas, we still have high gale warnings in the seaboards of Northern Samar,
02:35 Eastern Samar, Samar, in the island of Biliran, Leyte, Southern Leyte,
02:40 in the southern coast of Negros Oriental, Negros Occidental, in the area of Guimaras, Iloilo,
02:47 Capiz, Aclan, and Antique.
02:50 In the seaboards of Malami Danau, there is a high gale warning in the coastal islands of Dinagat Islands,
02:55 in the province of Surigao del Norte, including Siargao and Bocas Grande Islands,
03:01 in the area of Surigao del Sur, in the eastern coast of Davao Oriental,
03:05 and in the seaboards of Zamboanga del Norte.
03:08 So to our fellow fishermen and to the small sea vehicles, to the mentioned coastal islands,
03:14 if possible, let's not go too far because we will continue to experience high waves up to the very high seas
03:21 brought by the strong winds.
03:23 And for our 3-day extended weather outlook in the neighboring cities of our country,
03:28 the whole Luzon will still experience the effects of the strong winds or Northeast Monsoon for the next 3 days.
03:34 So this is particular to the areas of the Northern and Central Luzon.
03:36 In those cities of Metro Manila and Baguio City, we will still experience strong winds for the next 3 days,
03:43 aside from the chances of light rains or strong winds brought by the strong winds.
03:47 We expect that the strong rains will continue in the eastern section of the Southern Luzon,
03:53 in the Bicol Region, particularly in the city of Lagas P.C.
03:58 We still expect that these storms will persist for the next 3 days.
04:02 The chances of rain will be higher by Wednesday, January 31.
04:08 In the Visayas, tomorrow, Monday, we still expect the cold effects of the strong winds.
04:15 In the mentioned areas, the chances of rain and storms will be higher in the central and eastern sections of the Visayas.
04:22 By Tuesday, January 30, until Wednesday, January 31,
04:27 due to the possible effects of the trough extension of a low-pressure area
04:31 that could be formed outside our Philippine Area of Responsibility,
04:35 we will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain, hail and lightning
04:40 in the areas of Metro Cebu and Tacloban City.
04:43 In the large areas of the central and eastern Visayas,
04:46 we will experience high chances of rain in the mentioned areas.
04:50 The fair weather conditions will continue to be clear in the central and eastern parts of the Visayas.
04:56 In the Western Visayas region, in the area of Iloilo City,
04:59 we still expect fair weather conditions for the next 3 days.
05:02 There are still chances of light rain on Tuesday and Tuesday.
05:07 We expect that the chances of thunderstorms will increase,
05:11 usually from yesterday evening until tonight,
05:13 until Wednesday, due to the weakening of our cold winds.
05:18 In the areas of Mindanao, from tomorrow, Monday, until Wednesday,
05:24 for the next 3 days, we will experience cloudy skies
05:28 with scattered rain, hail and lightning in the large areas of Davao Region.
05:32 In the Metro Davao area, we will experience a trough
05:36 or the extension of an LPA that can be built outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
05:43 In the area of Northern Mindanao, we will experience rain with a trough.
05:48 From Tuesday to Wednesday, in the areas of the central and eastern sections of Mindanao,
05:56 we will be alert to the sudden rain and landslides,
06:00 especially if the rain continues to fall.
06:04 We expect that tomorrow, Monday, or at least for the next 3 days,
06:08 the rest of Mindanao, including Zamboanga City,
06:11 will still experience light rain.
06:14 There are chances of thunderstorms again from yesterday evening until tonight,
06:17 because we expect the weakening of the cold effects,
06:21 particularly in the area of Mindanao.
06:25 The sunny days here in the Philippines will be popular later at 6.25am
06:30 and will be calm later at 5.53pm.
