00:00 Okay, now the Golden State Warriors have had an up and down season to say the least inconsistent,
00:05 probably the best way to describe it.
00:07 Philadelphia is one of the best teams in the NBA when they have Joel Embiid playing.
00:12 And here we go again, more drama, more controversy in the NBA.
00:16 Has that huge game, does the whole Wilt Chamberlain with the points thing and then he's like done,
00:20 he's just not playing anymore.
00:22 Like he can't make this stuff up.
00:24 So look, I mean, I don't know what's going to happen here, Gilbert.
00:27 Look, I know the most important thing is for them to have Joel on the court in the playoffs.
00:32 I get that.
00:33 But it doesn't, why does it seem so unreasonable for this guy to play like 65 games in the
00:39 season?
00:40 I don't even think we should be talking about this, but here we are.
00:42 The guy just rests a lot.
00:44 Is there any other way to put it?
00:46 You know, Craig, I'm actually starting to get concerned because, you know, we talked
00:49 about this season and the benchmarks that players have to meet in order to win all NBA
00:54 and win MVP.
00:55 And Joel Embiid is steering pretty close to that line.
00:58 I believe he's missed 13 or 14 games now in the maximum you can miss is 17.
01:03 He had that big game last week, took a little bit of a step back.
01:06 They lost to the Pacers and he's been out ever since.
01:09 And there's been conflicting reports about how serious his knee injury is.
01:14 And I'm sure we'll learn tonight as they have a national television matchup, an opportunity
01:18 to avoid losing their third straight game because this 76ers team down Tyrese Maxey
01:23 and Joel Embiid last night lost to a lowly Trailblazers team.
01:27 So on the flip side, you look at the Warriors who are coming off of a pretty intense battle
01:32 with the Lakers over the weekend, who I would say was a heavyweight battle.
01:35 But these two teams are at the bottom of the Western Conference, but a really good game
01:39 between two generational talents and Steph Curry and LeBron James.
01:43 So I expect the Warriors to try to bounce back from that.
01:46 But injury has had its hand with the Warriors as well.
01:49 Chris Paul remains out.
01:50 Moses Moody is another player who's key to their rotation that remains out.
01:53 So all of it depends on whether or not Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey will be back in this
01:58 one.
01:59 But if one or both are out, I do like the Warriors taking care of their home court,
02:03 especially looking to bounce back from the way they lost over the weekend.
