Labour expresses concerns over 'readiness of British forces'
Labour's Chris Bryant said the party are concerned "about the readiness of the British armed forces." The Shadow Culture Minister said the government has "not had it's eye on the ball" and that armed forces do not have the equipment needed to participate in international conflict.

00:09 have stood up for the United Kingdom and protect our safety every day of the week,
00:13 but more because we worry that the government has not had its eye on the ball, it's not
00:17 fulfilled its commitment to individuals in the armed forces, we have fewer members of the armed
00:24 forces now and sometimes we worry that we've not got the equipment that we need to be able to
00:28 participate in other situations around the world and it is a very worrying world at the moment.
