00:00 Manchester United recorded an impressive 3-0 victory today against West Ham.
00:04 Their biggest home league win of the season so far. It was a good display for
00:08 United. I didn't think they were absolutely fantastic. The scoreline maybe slightly
00:12 flatters them a little bit because West Ham had some good moments in the game
00:15 but ultimately United won this game because of their fantastic attacking
00:19 options. Rasmus Hoyland got the opener in the 23rd minute. Fantastic goal from him.
00:24 Won the ball in the middle, bypassed O'Gerd. The West Ham defender fired him with his
00:29 weaker right foot. Really, really good goal. Robin van Persie was watching in the
00:32 stands. Slightly RVP-esque I would say, the way he finished that goal. Such power,
00:37 such accuracy as well. Be delighted with that. And suddenly a player who a couple
00:40 of weeks ago couldn't seem to buy a goal is now on four in the last four
00:44 league games. Playing really, really well. Ten Hag will be delighted with him. And it
00:48 was Alejandro Garnaccio who got two in the second half. I thought he was a bit quiet in the
00:51 first half but popped up with two really good moments. Cut inside in his left foot
00:54 at the start of the second half. Ball deflected in of a West Ham player to
00:58 make it 2-0 and in the latter stages made it 3-0. Good counter-attacking goal.
01:02 McTominay and Hoyland, Robin, Calvin Phillips in the middle of the pitch.
01:05 Driving forward and Garnaccio finished into the bottom corner. As I say, a really
01:09 good performance from United. Without maybe being their absolute best, I still think
01:13 Ten Hag will want a little bit more dominance in games. There were periods in that
01:16 match where I thought actually West Ham were on top, creating most of the
01:19 chances. But United started both halves well, got their goals and then slacked off a
01:23 little bit. But as I say, ultimately when you've got those attacking players, it does
01:27 mean that you can win football matches. I was definitely encouraging signs from
01:31 this team that a couple of weeks ago we were really questioning the direction
01:33 they were going in. Suddenly they put together a couple of wins, obviously two
01:36 in a row in the Premier League. I think if they won 3 out of 4, it's top of my head.
01:41 Now going forward, they've obviously got all their players back as well from
01:45 injury, scoring goals, kept a clean sheet today which is a bit of a rarity for
01:48 United as well. So they're going in the right direction, moving up to sixth
01:51 night in the table. I think they'll be eyeing those top four spots. I think it's
01:55 Tottenham and Aston Villa above them. They'll be eyeing them, trying to catch
01:58 them in the commonweights. But plenty of encouragement for United while at the
02:01 same time I still think there is things that they can improve on.
