00:04 The effects of the two weather systems in our country are still ongoing.

00:08 First is the Easter Lease, or the wind from the Pacific Ocean

00:12 that is blowing in a large part of Luzon and Visayas,

00:14 bringing hot weather and rains in a large part of Mindanao.

00:19 While the North-East Monsoon or Amihan is still weak,

00:22 and only here in the extreme northern Luzon, it is still affected.

00:25 Meanwhile, based on our latest satellite animation,

00:28 we don't see any typhoons or low-pressure areas

00:31 entering our area of responsibility until the long weekend.

00:35 Today, in a large part of Luzon, the Easter Lease is still in effect.

00:40 So, it's almost like the weather conditions as yesterday,

00:43 partly cloudy to cloudy skies here in the southern Luzon,

00:46 and fair weather conditions or mostly cloudy weather

00:49 from morning to afternoon here in the northern and central Luzon.

00:53 When the afternoon to night comes,

00:55 there are chances of isolated rain showers or thunderstorms

00:58 in the Calabarzon, Bicol region, and a large part of Mimaropa,

01:01 as well as Cagayan Valley and Aurora.

01:03 While in some parts of Luzon, the chances of rain are low,

01:06 here in the extreme northern Luzon, in Batanes and Baboyan Islands,

01:10 only isolated light rains are possible.

01:13 In Metro Manila, it's a bit hot today, up to 33 degrees Celsius,

01:18 while in some areas here in Luzon,

01:20 our temperature is above 30 degrees Celsius by the afternoon.

01:24 In some areas, it's still cold, even in the early hours,

01:27 14 to 24 degrees Celsius.

01:30 For our fellow citizens here in Visayas,

01:33 the cloudy skies are still expected for the next 24 hours.

01:37 In the morning, there are chances of rain showers here in the southern Luzon,

01:40 that's the effect of the Easter Lease.

01:42 While in the remaining parts of Eastern Visayas,

01:44 from afternoon to night, the chances of rain showers are high.

01:48 Our temperature here in Metro Cebu is between 24 to 30 degrees Celsius.

01:53 For our fellow citizens in Mindanao,

01:55 there are still chances of rain showers here in the eastern section.

01:58 In the Caraga and Davao region,

02:00 the chances of rain showers are still high,

02:02 that's the effect of the Easter Lease.

02:04 Our rainfall is not like the previous days,

02:07 where it's usually strong, light to moderate rains,

02:10 and then there are thunderstorms in the afternoon.

02:13 Yet, there are still chances of flooding and landslides.

02:17 For our fellow citizens over the rest of Mindanao,

02:20 we're partly cloudy skies.

02:23 Within the next 24 hours,

02:24 there are chances of rain showers before noon here in the Soksab Jen area

02:28 and northern Mindanao.

02:30 Then, from afternoon to night,

02:32 there are chances of rain showers here in the Bangsamoro region

02:35 and Zamboanga Peninsula.

02:37 For our fellow citizens in Davao,

02:38 the temperature is between 24 to 30 degrees Celsius.

02:41 While in Zamboanga City,

02:42 the temperature is between 32 to 32 degrees Celsius

02:44 by noon.

02:46 Due to the low humidity,

02:47 the chances of flooding are still high

02:51 in our big cities,

02:53 especially here in the West Philippine Sea.

02:55 As for the extreme northern Luzon,

02:57 the only chance of flooding is in Tangin,

02:59 where the flood level is up to 3 meters high.

03:01 So, it's still a bit dangerous for small sea vehicles.

03:04 But in the coming days,

03:06 the Northeast Monsoon will start to grow

03:08 and it might reach a large part of Luzon.

03:11 So, until the middle of next week,

03:13 it's possible for the sea to be flooded.

03:16 We repeat, over this long weekend,

03:18 here in the large part of Luzon,

03:20 the flood level will gradually increase.

03:22 By tomorrow, more on Batanes, Ilocos Norte, and Cagayan,

03:25 the flood will be severe.

03:27 Then, by the weekend,

03:28 it might reach a large part of Luzon,

03:30 the Northeast Monsoon.

03:32 For Metro Manila,

03:33 part of the cloudy skies will still be there.

03:35 Sometimes, it will be cloudy,

03:36 but the chances of rain showers

03:38 will still be low for the next three days.

03:40 In Baguio City,

03:41 the chances of light rain showers

03:43 will be high by Sunday.

03:44 But for Friday and Saturday,

03:46 the chances of rain showers will still be ideal.

03:48 It will be sunny most of the mornings

03:50 and in the afternoons,

03:51 there are chances of light rain showers.

03:53 Then, here in Legazpi City,

03:54 the weather conditions will still be the same,

03:56 partly cloudy to cloudy skies,

03:58 and there are chances of light rain showers.

04:00 For our fellow citizens in Visayas,

04:03 it's very ideal to go out,

04:05 for outdoor activities and rain showers

04:07 over this long weekend.

04:08 Let's hope that it will be cloudy,

04:10 and sometimes, it will be sunny,

04:12 for the next three days.

04:14 If it rains,

04:15 it will be more of localized thunderstorms

04:17 because of the Easter days.

04:18 It will be more common here in Eastern Visayas

04:20 in the Northern and Eastern summer.

04:22 For our fellow citizens in Mindanao,

04:25 it will be hot.

04:27 Starting tomorrow,

04:29 except here in Mizambanga Peninsula,

04:31 where it will be cloudy and rainy,

04:33 by Sunday afternoon,

04:35 we will experience partly cloudy,

04:37 and sometimes, sunny skies.

04:39 In the afternoon, it will be hot and foggy.

04:41 So, stay hydrated if you're going out.

04:43 For Metro Davao,

04:45 it's possible to have up to 32 degrees Celsius,

04:47 and here in Mizambanga City,

04:49 up to 33 degrees Celsius.

04:50 And if it rains,

04:52 it will be localized thunderstorms for 1 to 2 hours.

04:55 The sun will rise at 6.24 a.m.,

04:58 and set at 2 a.m. before 6 p.m.
