00:00 People smoking in public? No, I think it's really bad because I mean not everybody can
00:08 take the smoke, right? And they should ban them on the buses as well.
00:13 You get, I mean during Covid the number of people I saw coughing and spitting in the
00:18 streets and I tried to say to some fella, you know, there's Covid going round and you're
00:25 spitting. The amount of rubbish there is as well, I don't like that. Yeah, on the estate
00:30 I live on, the edges of the road are absolutely full of rubbish. So, yeah.
00:37 I've bred gundogs in my younger days. As I said, I'm not politically correct, I hunt
00:44 and I shoot. Now I've always come to the conclusion, most of the time, there's no such thing as
00:50 a bad dog, but a bad owner. It's the way you treat a dog, the way you look after the dog,
00:56 the way you bring it home. Puppies are like children, you've got to play with them and
01:02 you've got to train them. And we're going back to kids with mobile phones, half the
01:08 time these children aren't trained.
01:12 From exiled bollydogs to some types of vape and even bagpipes at the upcoming Euros, it's
01:18 certainly been a year for things being banned. In light of this, we've sent camera teams
01:23 out across the country to find out what irritations the great British public would like to see
01:28 banned. And here is a few more to add to the list.
01:32 I'll tell you one thing I would ban, and as soon as you notice it, it's everywhere, and
01:37 it's people regarding chewing gum everywhere. When you look on any street, there's little
01:43 white marks and that's people spitting chewing gum out on the street. And it's disgusting
01:47 and that's really bad.
01:48 Just recently there's been a lot of knife crime around Leeds and it depends on the area
01:53 you're looking at. And the thing is, obviously Idris Elba just recently, he was talking about
01:58 tackling that knife crime. And this is the biggest issue because the thing is people
02:03 are getting killed every now and then and there's a surge in epidemic. And obviously
02:07 there should be a reason as to why you need a knife. For example, if you're working in
02:11 a restaurant, for example, if you're using it at home. But the problem is it's so easy
02:16 for anyone to gain access to a knife where things should be considered.
02:21 Alcohol. Yeah, excess amounts of alcohol. I don't know. It seems like that is quite
02:28 a big problem for public health, isn't it? You know, people, they get unwell when they
02:31 drink more and, you know, long term kind of conditions linked to alcohol.
02:37 People making a nuisance of themselves in public houses.
02:39 So is that people getting too rowdy, too drunk, too loud, too leery?
02:45 Yes. Yeah. Yeah. Or different issues.
02:49 You don't make them put a nuisance of yourselves in public houses?
02:52 No, no. No.
02:53 Very well behaved.
02:55 Banning things doesn't necessarily fix anything. It's all about making sure that we fund education
03:01 services and mental health services properly.
