00:00 And on both sides, gentlemen,
00:01 you got my instructions in the back.
00:03 Protect yourselves at all times.
00:05 Listen to my commands.
00:06 Touch him up back to corner.
00:07 Gentlemen, Tom Taylor,
00:08 the referee for what will be our
00:11 co feature 10 rounds of lightweights.
00:13 The former champ now at 34 against
00:15 the rising star he Sean Davis at
00:18 9 and 0 with six knockouts.
00:22 But draws it got herself up to 140 pounds.
00:24 It's got a lot of miles on the odometer.
00:27 The weight drain.
00:28 Tim here to get back down to 135.
00:30 Absolutely, you know you can feel good
00:32 through camp and diet and do all the
00:35 necessary things to make the weight.
00:37 But you really don't know how well you're
00:39 going to feel the night of the fight,
00:41 so you just gotta just pay attention
00:43 to Bedraza and see if he still
00:45 has a lot left in the tank and he
00:47 turned to us yesterday and said
00:49 when we were getting into a hefty
00:50 conversation about the strategy
00:51 that he wants to employ and he said
00:54 he wants a high volume pace against
00:56 against Keisha.
00:57 That's dangerous.
00:58 Yes, I hear what he's saying,
00:59 but at the same time is dangerous
01:01 because he shine is a prolific
01:03 counterpuncher.
01:04 I stop looking for the right hand
01:06 over the jab of a driver from Keisha.
01:08 If he jabs from the wrong distance,
01:10 expect that right hand to come over the top.
01:13 Draws it hasn't fought at 135
01:16 pounds since May of 2019.
01:18 Gotta come over the top with a right
01:20 hand against that jab of Davis.
01:24 See Bedraza pushing that pace test.
01:27 That's it. He said he said set us.
01:29 He told us in the fighter meeting
01:31 that he wants to push the pace.
01:33 He's doing it now,
01:34 but there's a ton of bouncing from him,
01:36 wasting a lot of energy that could
01:38 show up late in the fight.
01:40 Good job.
01:40 Boy off of a year and five days said
01:43 I needed that kind of arrest.
01:45 He's not ready.
01:46 Feels recharged.
01:47 Keisha is really economical
01:51 with his offense.
01:53 He'll let his hands go when he feels necessary.
01:58 He just doesn't throw cautious to the wind.
02:02 And when it comes to the CompuBox stats,
02:04 when you sit there and you try to look
02:06 through and come up with analysis with
02:08 Keisha Davis, you go back to that
02:10 last fight on October 14th.
02:11 A bit of a speed bump in this stage
02:14 of his career, like a lot of top
02:16 prospects often do, but in that
02:18 fight against Nahir Albright,
02:19 that was a majority decision win that
02:21 was eventually changed to a no contest.
02:23 That was the first time in his career
02:26 where there was an opponent who actually
02:28 even outlanded him in a single round.
02:30 Yes, he shot play.
02:31 No, but I heard what a shot.
02:32 Good job.
02:33 Expected the power.
02:35 I asked him, I was like,
02:36 did you fall asleep in there?
02:38 You know why did you play defense?
02:40 Let me go and he said it had a lot to
02:42 do with his actual physical well being.
02:46 He said that you know the marijuana
02:48 was was the issue.
02:49 He said he's quit the marijuana now.
02:51 He says he feels stronger in practice now.
02:53 He feels like he has the wind to go as
02:55 many rounds as need are necessary in his
02:57 work as hard as he needs to work
02:59 throughout the course of the fight.
03:02 Continue that conversation in a moment.
03:04 The draws it continues to try to come forward.
03:06 Davis able to get out of the way
03:09 of that offensive attack.
03:10 What you're noting is back on October 14th.
03:12 He had a majority decision
03:14 win against Albright.
03:15 The Texas Commission then changed
03:16 the results of that fight to a no
03:19 contest after he exceeded the levels
03:21 for cannabis consumption.
03:22 Here's Davis.
03:23 I feel like me and my last opponent put
03:34 on a great performance for the fans.
03:36 As we all know, I got suspended for marijuana.
03:40 I just felt like that was, you know,
03:43 holding me back physically.
03:44 I talked to God.
03:45 They told me it's time to put that down.
03:49 You gotta live up to your full potential.
03:52 I'm back in healthy ready.
03:54 I've been winning a lot of these
03:56 fights around pure talent.
03:58 Now that I'm actually physically
04:00 capable of pushing myself to the limit,
04:02 I want to see how much I can do this fight
04:06 because all the other fights it was just
04:09 me being talented and I know my win because
04:12 I'm good but this time I'm actually
04:14 physically capable of doing anything
04:16 I want every round.
04:17 I just gotta go in there and get the job done.
04:19 Now Keyshawn Davis has recently opened up
04:26 and has talked about issues in his life.
04:29 Going back some years as to why
04:31 he started smoking Tim.
04:32 He said listen, some serious mental
04:34 health issues and throughout that
04:35 process he was smoking and then he
04:38 told us yesterday how noticeable it is
04:40 in the course of the recent training
04:42 camps in which he is as he says,
04:44 put down the weed and he's a better
04:47 person in every way. Oh absolutely.
04:48 That had to be tough for him,
04:50 especially when you get consistent
04:52 with using a drug like that.
04:54 However, it definitely will allow
04:55 you to be having better lungs.
04:57 Anything you think about it,
04:59 anything you put into your lungs
05:01 is going to affect it no matter
05:03 what it is going to affect it
05:05 some way, shape or form.
05:07 Now if you look at his last two performances.
05:11 They've been subpar, you know,
05:13 been a lot of lows in action from him.
05:16 He's going to have to be the
05:18 complete package tonight test
05:20 because it looks like for draws
05:22 it right now is starting to get
05:25 itself into a rhythm.
05:26 He had a 14 to 10 connected
05:28 vantage in round one round.
05:30 Two of our co feature as you
05:32 see right now in the locker room.
05:34 There is the world champion Tiafimo
05:36 Lopez two division world champion.
05:38 At this point, of course,
05:40 was undisputed at 135 pounds and
05:42 now the lineal champion, but no ring
05:44 belt champion at 140 pounds after
05:46 that phenomenal performance against
05:48 Josh Taylor back in New York to
05:50 start last summer. Alright, stop stop.
05:55 Jose let down go but jobs are
06:03 really trying to just push the pace.
06:05 Force an inside fight.
06:06 I don't know if he's a stronger man in there.
06:09 He remember coming down from 140 pounds.
06:11 Yes, you'll consider him the bigger man.
06:13 He's younger.
06:15 He's strong for the weight class.
06:17 Oh, it's a good right hand is
06:19 Pedroza cross that threshold.
06:21 Then a left hook comes in from
06:23 Keyshawn Davis, all created by his
06:25 footwork moving laterally and
06:27 then stopping on a dime.
06:29 Three punch combination by Davis
06:31 Pedroza back to the inside,
06:33 trying to stay right in that pocket.
06:36 Trying to press the action against
06:39 the young undefeated fighter.
06:41 Get about the sun just a little bit,
06:43 but the arm don't you shot?
06:44 He said let it go.
06:45 Keyshawn is throwing these subtle
06:47 body shots on the inside.
06:48 Small little punches on the inside
06:50 that can show up later in the fight.
06:52 When you're landing.
06:55 Body shots like that on your opponent.
06:58 It's like siphon the gas right there.
07:00 It's like gas tank.
07:01 That's been a story for me as I'm watching this.
07:04 He's just investing in that body because
07:06 it's going to pay good dividends down
07:08 the stretch in this fight and being
07:10 a tiny older fighter and have been
07:12 through a lot of wars and having a
07:14 hard time making this weight.
07:16 In a long time, guess what?
07:19 You can wear him down.
07:20 You can break him down a lot sooner.
07:23 Then you think at a right
07:24 hand to close out round 2.
07:26 This isn't Charmin.
07:29 No wonder I don't feel as clean.
07:31 Hurry up dad.
07:32 I'm trying this cheap stuff is too thin.
07:36 Here's Charmin ultra strong.
07:39 My bottom's been saved.
07:41 With its diamond weave texture,
07:43 Charmin ultra strong cleans better
07:45 with fewer sheets and less effort.
07:47 What's everybody waiting for this?
07:49 We all go.
07:50 Why not enjoy the go with Charmin?
07:53 And for a shower fresh,
07:55 clean feeling, try Charmin flushable wipes.
07:59 Pain doesn't care who you are or why you hurt,
08:02 but pain can be mastered if you know the way.

08:25 This is the way of the tiger.
08:29 Joe, Tim, Bernardo and Mark with you
08:31 here from Nicollet Ultra Arena Mandalay
08:34 Bay top rank boxing on ESPN.
08:36 Exciting nice Super Bowl weekend
08:38 has arrived in the showstopper
08:40 to Fimo Lopez over defending his
08:42 world championship in our main event.
08:44 Getting a good look at Keyshawn Davis
08:46 early on here against a former
08:48 title is in Jose Pedraza.
08:50 Another three punch combination from Davis.
08:53 The pedraza close in the distance.
08:55 Keyshawn is allowing him to and
08:57 now he's just teeing off in spots.
08:59 Catching Pedraza out of position.
09:01 You see Pedraza switching from
09:02 softball to orthodox good combination
09:04 from Davis Danny goes with the right
09:07 hand left hook comes up top Davis in
09:09 control here early on around 3.
09:12 In complete control while the
09:13 body shots you picked up on that.
09:15 William double up that right
09:17 hand including the uppercut.
09:18 This is very good sharp shooting
09:22 early on from Davis isn't Timmy.
09:24 He's breaking him down.
09:26 He's already starting to break him down.
09:28 Right hand splits the guard Davis.
09:33 Head shot after head shot against
09:35 Pedraza here in round 3.
09:36 Pedraza trying to match fire
09:44 with fire for a moment.
09:46 Davis had a great opening
09:48 minute here in round #3.
09:50 Look if your game plan is just to come
09:55 forward and throw punches at Keyshawn Davis,
09:57 you won't get hit with shots like that.
09:59 You would think the veteran Pedraza
10:01 will be trying to attempt to set up
10:03 his shots and at least use a jab on the way in.
10:06 He's not doing anything.
10:07 He's walking through the front door.
10:09 Keyshawn Davis is allowed into and
10:11 then he's picking picking him off.
10:13 In the inside combinations,
10:14 body shots, lead punches,
10:16 every offensive weapon being shown
10:18 this third round from Davis in the
10:20 first half of the third round alone,
10:22 he landed 2020 power punches.
10:27 Test I'm looking at the legs.
10:33 Well, the legs are showing me from
10:35 Pedraza is is that it was a tough way cut.
10:38 He hasn't made 135 pounds in four years.
10:41 His legs look very unstable.
10:44 Every time Keyshawn lands
10:46 something significant on him,
10:47 you see his legs somewhat wobble.
10:49 This game plan as of right now for
10:57 the veteran Pedraza is not going to work.
10:59 You gotta be better than that.
11:01 You see the defense of prowess of.
11:02 Of Keyshawn, Pedraza trying to go to that
11:07 body and wrap around that right elbow.
11:10 There's no power on those shots,
11:12 so look at this.
11:13 He's shaking it off.
11:14 He's arm punching.
11:15 Sandy 23 body punches Keyshawn Davis.
11:23 Pummeling up that excellent round.
11:26 Bravo you use the quick silver card
11:31 from Capital One with no annual fee
11:34 and unlimited 1.5% cash back on every
11:36 purchase every way that makes you
11:38 the hero of every purchase.
11:40 Who says you can't go for bold
11:45 without going broke? Get the brands
11:48 you want the prices you want.
11:50 Whenever you want.
11:53 TG Max where you can always
11:55 afford to be you to the Max.
11:59 You get better.
12:01 When you're not blamed for a
12:04 condition you can't control.
12:07 You'll get better when you're
12:09 paying isn't minimized, dismissed.
12:13 Forgotten we will never stop
12:17 trying to get better.
12:19 Because when medicine gets better.
12:23 All of us.
12:24 The first third round by Keyshawn Davis,
12:29 where he threw down at 62 power
12:32 punches and landed 39 of them.
12:36 And now the doctor is going to look
12:38 at that right eye of Jose Pedraza.
12:40 Over here. 39 power punches absorbed
12:48 in that last round alone by Pedraza.
12:52 And we sat with Keyshawn Davis
12:54 yesterday and talked about Pedraza.
12:56 Perhaps what he brings to the table.
12:58 So let's get something straight.
12:59 He's not better than me and I'm not going
13:02 to sit there and play with that old man.
13:04 He has come straight out.
13:05 Meanwhile, this is what's going on in the
13:08 other locker room of our championship fight.
13:10 That's Jermaine Ortiz from Worcester,
13:12 MA. His trainer, Ricky Gonzalez,
13:13 first world title challenge for Ortiz.
13:15 However, he has been to the top on the big
13:18 stage because he earned the right to be a
13:21 true contender when he went up against
13:24 Vasily Lomachenko back in October 2022.
13:26 And he went 12 rounds.
13:28 He showed he could stay with Lomachenko.
13:31 He had a very good first half of that
13:34 fight before the former pound for pound.
13:36 #1 rallied late.
13:37 He also had a superb win against Jamel Herring,
13:41 the former Super Featherweight
13:42 World Champion.
13:43 So Ortiz in every way has earned the
13:46 right against a couple big names to get
13:49 into a spot like this against Tiafimo Lopez.
13:52 That is coming up after this co feature.
13:54 Let's check in with Bernardo.
13:58 I was speaking with Luis Espada
14:00 Jose Pedraza's corner.
14:01 He said I told him I need him to
14:03 use the entire ring. Don't do this.
14:05 I don't want you in the in fight
14:07 struggling boxing.
14:08 He's fighting with his heart
14:11 instead of fighting with his mind,
14:13 you know, and that has to do with
14:15 he knows that this door is about
14:17 to close on him. He knows that if
14:19 he doesn't win this fight tonight.
14:21 Then he may not get another opportunity.
14:23 This could be it for him,
14:24 so he's putting it all on the line.
14:26 He's not thinking in there.
14:28 He's fighting with his heart and
14:29 he needs to fight with his mind.
14:31 And you got Keyshawn Davis just taking
14:33 full advantage of his aggression.
14:35 Ineffective aggression test.
14:40 It is effective aggression in effective.
14:44 Davis has been accurate landing
14:46 54% of his power punches.
14:48 Pedraza is a shell of himself.
14:50 You know, I don't care what anybody says.
14:52 I I told you guys it depends on what he has.
14:56 I'm not taking anything away
14:57 from what Keyshawn is doing.
14:59 He's looking spectacular.
15:00 You know he's inside the pocket.
15:02 He's not allowing Pedraza to work.
15:04 He's taking blocking.
15:05 He's countering.
15:05 He's doing what he needs to do,
15:07 but at the same time you just see that
15:10 this is not the same Pedraza that
15:12 we've seen in the past.
15:13 He definitely drained him
15:14 and took a lot out of.
15:15 He's not pulling back.
15:26 Stop stop stop stop stop stop stop stop.
15:29 Don't look at me.
15:30 Don't don't turn.
15:31 Don't come and pull it out.
15:33 Keep that head up alright.
15:35 We're good. Go.
15:37 Back to business.
15:39 Take a short break,
15:40 come back for round five and we will
15:42 have more from Tiafimo Lopez.
15:45 In his locker room as he gets
15:46 ready for his title defense.
15:47 Want to get the most out of one sheet?
15:54 Grab bounty.
15:55 Bounty is made to be stronger.
16:01 And more absorbent.
16:02 So while ordinary brands can't hold up,
16:06 one sheet of bounty keeps working,
16:08 even when wet.
16:10 Now that's the sound of value.
16:18 Bounty the quicker, picker, upper.
16:21 You get better.
16:24 When you're not blamed for a
16:26 condition you can't control.
16:29 You'll get better when you're
16:32 paying isn't minimized,
16:34 dismissed, forgotten.
16:38 We will never stop trying to get better.
16:42 Because when medicine gets better.
16:46 All of us. Can't get better.
16:48 He Sean Davis with a one of four to 36
16:55 connected vantage through four rounds.
16:57 Mark Regal. How do you score it?
16:58 Alright, stop stop 4040.
17:00 36 four rounds to none.
17:03 Keyshawn listen,
17:04 he's so much physically stronger
17:07 even when Pedroza scores,
17:08 it feels like he can't generate any power.
17:11 I feel like we're just waiting on a KO.
17:14 But drives us tough.
17:18 That's one thing I know it's tough.
17:20 He's only been stopped by Tank Davis.
17:23 I was at 130 pounds.
17:25 If Keyshawn is going to stop
17:29 Pedroza, he's gonna have to start
17:31 putting combinations together.
17:33 And it's going to start by going
17:35 to his body and continually weaken him.
17:39 Weakening him.
17:39 Look at that gentleman work out of it.
17:44 He shot, pull your mom,
17:45 pull your mom, right stop.
17:47 Pull it up nice to pull up.
17:48 It's about time for jobs.
17:56 I finally threw a straight punch
17:58 right down the middle instead of
17:59 just trying to smother and
18:00 get it on the inside.
18:01 He's landed over 40 body punches
18:04 to this point.
18:05 So what I'm seeing test is just
18:08 the relaxation from Keyshawn.
18:09 That's what's impressing me.
18:11 He's not spooked by the fire.
18:13 He's not as spooked by the pressure
18:14 that Pedroza is putting on him
18:16 and trying to get inside and
18:17 maul with him and wrestle with him.
18:19 He's actually seemingly comfortable
18:20 in the inside and doesn't have
18:22 a problem with it.
18:24 And Pedroza's got a lot of
18:25 power in his body.
18:26 He's got a lot of power in his
18:28 body.
18:28 He's got a lot of power in his
18:29 body.
18:30 No punch and Pedroza has not been
18:33 at the pace that he told us he
18:34 would prefer to be.
18:35 And that's because of the
18:36 dominance of Davis coming out of
18:40 his right hand from Davis.
18:44 But jobs is doing all the work
18:45 for Keyshawn.
18:46 Yes.
18:47 All the work for him.
18:48 It's exactly what Keyshawn wants.
18:51 So he can land shots like that
18:53 again.
18:54 But the breakdown process has to
18:56 continue.
18:57 Continue round after round.
18:59 Keyshawn has to break them down
19:00 to the body.
19:01 Little by little.
19:04 There's no power on those shots
19:05 coming from Pedroza at all.
19:08 Lot of arm punching.
19:10 Stop stop stop stop.
19:11 Straight back straight back.
19:12 Go.
19:21 Now there's plenty of power from
19:23 the shots of the guy who's the
19:24 star attraction tonight.
19:25 That is T.
19:26 Is Dimo Lopez who has been so
19:29 dynamic.
19:29 Of course there's been Heisman
19:31 Dice with the one punch knock
19:32 outs.
19:33 There's been sensational efforts
19:35 and he does so with a flavor
19:37 quality.
19:37 He is a twitching athlete and
19:39 now a two division world
19:42 champion who will be defending
19:43 his WBO junior welterweight
19:45 title lineal title in just
19:47 moments against Jermaine
19:48 Ortiz.
19:49 And Bernardo is in the locker
19:50 room with him.
19:53 How do you.
19:55 Defending your belt against
19:58 Jermaine Ortiz.
19:59 Well first of all we top it by
20:01 having me on the face and the
20:03 backboard other than Jermaine
20:05 Ortiz.
20:06 My whole thing really is just
20:07 focusing on what more can I do.
20:09 That's it.
20:09 You know I'm young I'm 26 for
20:11 crying out loud.
20:11 I haven't hit my prime and just
20:13 with doing what I've been doing
20:14 it's not even it's not
20:16 impressive to me.
20:17 I mean maybe to the world it is
20:18 but I have so many tricks up my
20:20 sleeve and I look forward to
20:21 putting some more on display
20:22 tonight.
20:23 Two time lineal champion slick
20:25 boxer Gordo that's what your
20:26 father has been calling for.
20:27 What does that mean in terms of
20:29 the show you're going to put on
20:30 for the fans tonight.
20:31 Well what it really means is
20:32 just having fun.
20:34 You know what I'm saying.
20:34 That's all it is.
20:35 The definition of slick boxer
20:36 Gordo is just having fun.
20:38 You know when I have fun in
20:39 there there's moves that people
20:41 never seen before or haven't
20:42 seen in a long time.
20:43 I look forward to doing that
20:44 tonight.
20:45 I look forward to giving
20:46 everybody a show.
20:47 It's the greatest showman the
20:48 showman the greatest showman is
20:50 going to have a great ring
20:51 entrance Joe when T.O.
20:53 female Lopez defends his belt
20:54 tonight.
20:54 Yeah that is the theme.
20:55 The showman here in Vegas as you
20:57 see the artwork even the font
20:59 that has been chosen for this
21:00 title defense.
21:01 Everything is the showman
21:02 circus theme and he's very
21:05 excited to say listen I like
21:06 when boxing does the big grand
21:08 over the top ring entrance and
21:10 that is what he has played.
21:11 He didn't want to get too many
21:12 details yesterday but we know
21:14 it's circus themed and it's
21:15 going to be over the top and
21:16 that is coming up in moments.
21:18 He talks about having more
21:19 tricks up his sleeve if not even
21:21 in his mind reaching his prime
21:23 yesterday and just simply going
21:25 out there and having fun and he
21:26 may have as he has a very game
21:28 opponent in front of him
21:30 tonight and Jermaine Ortiz but
21:32 you just get the sense that T.
21:34 a female Lopez wants to make
21:35 tonight special with how he
21:38 closes the show.
21:39 Tess and the biggest events he's
21:40 always showed up and showed out.
21:42 This is one of the biggest
21:43 events of his career.
21:44 He's the headliner.
21:46 It's here in Vegas the Super
21:47 Bowl weekend.
21:48 He's definitely going to want to
21:50 show out tonight.
21:50 Another good body shot from
21:52 Keyshawn Davis and now the right
21:54 hand comes in against Petrazza
21:56 and now he's got him backed up
21:57 against the ropes and he's
21:58 teeing off as Davis has Petrazza
22:00 off balance.
22:01 Another big head shot.
22:03 Big right hand backs him up into
22:05 the corner and this fight is
22:07 over.
22:09 Bloody beaten battered as
22:11 Petrazza and Keyshawn Davis
22:14 delivers.
22:15 The biggest test of his young
22:38 career and take out a big red
22:42 marker and write a plus on it.
22:45 That was sensational from Davis.
22:55 That's a two division world
22:57 champion that he just knocked
22:59 out.
23:00 That he just stopped.
23:03 Let's take a look at these
23:04 replays how he got it done.
23:06 When Keyshawn wants to turn it
23:07 on he can turn it on.
23:08 He can change gears.
23:10 You can see that starting with
23:11 the jab coming behind with the
23:13 right hand.
23:14 You see Petrazza right here
23:16 squared up inside the pocket.
23:18 Doesn't have good positioning
23:20 here.
23:21 You see the follow up shots and
23:22 you see the killer instinct.
23:23 Big right hand around the bar of
23:25 that high guard usage from
23:28 Petrazza and this is a great
23:29 finish by the young phenom
23:31 Keyshawn Davis.
23:32 Just following up.
23:34 Knew the referee was going to
23:35 step in eventually.
23:36 He can see him out of the corner
23:37 of his eye but when he wants to
23:39 turn it on he can turn it on.
23:42 This kid has levels.
23:43 He has gears and he showed that
23:45 tonight.
23:46 What up.
23:47 What up.
23:48 If you ain't about that murder
23:50 game.
23:51 Shut up.
23:52 Top rank boxing on ESPN is
23:54 presented by Autozone.
23:56 Get in the zone.
23:57 Keyshawn Davis the undefeated
24:01 lightweight contender.
24:04 He was in the zone when it came
24:05 to the power punch.
24:07 You saw that singular right
24:09 hand that sent Petrazza from the
24:12 middle of the ring all the way
24:13 over to the right corner.
24:15 That was one of 104 power
24:18 punches landed in not even six
24:21 rounds completed.
24:23 104 power punches landed by
24:25 Davis.
24:26 As sharp as he has ever looked
24:28 against the best opponent he's
24:30 ever been in.
24:31 Absolutely.
24:32 And he took his time and slowly
24:33 broke down Petrazza.
24:35 That's what I like about it.
24:36 He didn't just rush to it.
24:38 He slowly broke him down and
24:40 then took him out.
24:41 Beautiful display of boxing.
24:44 And that'll lead us to Teofimo
24:46 Lopez.
24:47 The main attraction.
24:49 It is time for him to take
24:51 center stage.
24:52 Of course it has been a
24:53 rollercoaster ride of a career
24:55 that we've all enjoyed.
24:57 Teofimo Lopez's career has been
24:59 a rollercoaster ride of
25:01 unexpected heights and dips,
25:03 twists and turns.
25:04 With attention grabbing one
25:06 punch knockouts and back flip
25:08 celebrations, the Lopez ride
25:10 kept climbing and climbing.
25:11 And on October 17, 2020, it
25:14 reached unimaginable heights.
25:15 An upset win of the number one
25:17 pound for pound Lomachenko.
25:19 Lopez was in the clouds as the
25:20 undisputed champ.
25:22 But that coaster was rickety and
25:23 the drop was coming.
25:25 The shocking loss to George
25:26 Kambosis had him bottoming out
25:28 in November of '21.
25:29 A series of twists and turns
25:31 came next.
25:32 There would be no easy climb
25:34 back up.
25:35 He started inching that way by
25:37 beating overmatched Pedro Acampo.
25:39 But the coaster ride of a career
25:41 then took another dip.
25:42 A few months later at MSG, he had
25:44 a controversial split decision
25:46 win against light hitting
25:48 Sandra Martin.
25:49 Teofimo himself famously saying,
25:51 "Do I still got it?"
25:52 He did and more.
25:54 The Teofimo ride took a rocket
25:56 boosted move.
25:57 It was that June of '23, a
25:59 victory over lineal and recent
26:01 four belt king Josh Taylor of 140
26:04 pounds.
26:05 It silenced doubters and
26:06 reminded all that this ride is
26:08 hardly over and you never know
26:11 where it's gonna go.
26:14 >> But we know in moments it's
26:16 gonna go from that locker room
26:18 to this ring.
26:20 And he will defend his world
26:22 championship.
26:23 A guy who has a world
26:24 championship in his sights is
26:27 ready to have his arm raised.
26:28 Here's Mark Chinook.
26:31 >> Ladies and gentlemen, here
26:32 inside Michelob Ultra Arena, this
26:35 bout comes to a conclusion at
26:37 one minute, nine seconds of
26:40 round number six.
26:42 For your winner by technical
26:43 knockout and now the USWBC,
26:46 USBA and WBO intercontinental
26:51 champion, Keyshawn "The
26:54 Businessman" Davis.
26:59 >> Keyshawn Davis, tremendous
27:01 performance with the TKO
27:04 victory.
27:05 Now up to the ring, Gerbernardo.
27:08 >> Keyshawn, this was supposed
27:10 to be your step-up fight against
27:12 an experienced fighter.
