00:00 Broken hearted, you're going to work?
00:03 That's hard.
00:05 That's why a congressman is urging for a heartbreak leave.
00:09 What do our fellow citizens think?
00:12 Let's find out on the Street Hear It of Bam Alegre.
00:14 Bam, good morning.
00:17 Maris, good morning.
00:21 Heartbreak leave is for those who want to let go because their heart doesn't want it anymore.
00:26 We asked some of our fellow citizens what their opinion is on this.
00:30 Here's the Street Hear It.
00:31 If someone is going through a breakup, it's easy to get distracted.
00:41 According to a law in the House Bill 9931, employees are given a heartbreak leave.
00:47 Unpaid leave but an employee will be given consideration and space if someone is going through it.
00:53 According to the House Bill, there are brackets.
00:56 If someone is 25 years old, they will be given a heartbreak leave every year.
01:00 If someone is 25 to 35 years old, they will be given 2 heartbreak leaves per year.
01:05 And if someone is 36 years old, they will be given 3 heartbreak leaves per year.
01:09 Why is it more if it's older?
01:11 According to the House Bill, Representative Lord Dan Suan has a longer leave than the older one
01:18 because it's a more complicated situation for the family.
01:21 If Lin Era is the one who will ask, there's a sense of heartbreak leave because we have different ways of processing for our mental health.
01:28 It's okay.
01:30 Since we're not all the same, we don't cope up with being broken.
01:38 There are some who feel so much.
01:41 So they need a break to think properly or to accept things.
01:49 But you can't be too harsh.
01:51 You need to sign statements to the company that you're on a break for 30 days.
01:55 Don't you know this, Marites?
01:57 When you go back to work?
01:58 Of course, it's like that for the family.
02:00 But when it comes to love, it's like it's not like that.
02:05 But it's okay for the family.
02:07 But when it comes to love, it's like it's only for you.
02:13 But why would you ask for a heartbreak if there's someone waiting for you?
02:18 It's personal.
02:20 Why would you declare yourself broken-hearted?
02:24 It's more embarrassing for people.
02:27 What's important is that if you're on a break, you can look for someone else if there's someone who loves you.
02:33 It's not the end of the world yet.
02:35 Right.
02:36 A little flight and then?
02:38 Of course, you might see a perfect match.
