SMC-led group wins bid for NAIA rehab

San Miguel Corporation (SMC)-led group SMC-SAP Company and Consortium is the winner of the months-long bidding race for the operations and maintenance of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), as announced by the Department of Transportation (DOTr) and Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) in a media briefing on Feb. 16.

The group proposed the highest bid amount among the three bidders for the airport, offering to give the national government 82.16 percent of airport revenues. (MB Video by Ariel Fernandez)
