00:13USAID is the American agency that provides financial assistance to thousands of organizations and countries around the world.

00:27According to the announcement, from February 7, all direct-hire personnel of USAID around the world will be under administrative leave,

00:38The people outside of America will be sent back to America within 30 days.

00:59Among the affected are the NGOs in the Philippines that are funded by USAID.

01:05Currently, the beneficiaries of USAID are in 30 organizations or projects that have an equivalent of Php4 billion.

01:13And because they are connected to many smaller groups, many jobs will be lost in the Philippines.

01:21Organizations of lawyers are helping human rights victims and victims of extrajudicial killings.
