00:59 The company announced its adoption of the upcoming SAE J3400 charging connector, starting
01:05 with select battery-electric vehicles launching in North America for the 2026 model year.
01:11 The announcement builds upon the Iona Charging Network joint venture, in which Stellantis
01:16 and six other world-leading automakers joined to develop a high-powered charging network
01:21 with at least 30,000 charge points in urban and highway locations across North America
01:27 by 2030.
01:29 The first charging stations from this joint venture are expected to open this year.
01:35 Green Car Journal named the Fiat 500e "2024 Urban Green Car of the Year."
01:42 The 500e is electrifying North America with its Sustainable Mobility Mission as Stellantis'
01:48 first BEV offering in the region.
01:51 Green Car Journal editors noted the "compelling combination of efficiency, affordability,
01:57 style, and zero-emission motoring with a cool Italian vibe."
02:03 And finally, Stellantis NV reported record full-year financial results for 2023, with
02:10 net revenues of €189.5 billion, up 6% compared to 2022, and net profit up 11% to €18.6
02:20 billion.
02:22 The North American region saw a 2% increase in shipments and a 1% increase in net revenues
02:28 for the year.
02:30 The region also saw sales of plug-in hyberelectric vehicles take the number one spot, followed
02:35 by sales of low-emission vehicles.
02:38 The Jeep Wrangler 4xe remains the top-selling PHEV since 2021, followed by the Jeep Grand
02:44 Cherokee 4xe in the number two spot and the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid coming in as the
02:50 fourth top-selling PHEV.
