00:02 And I know the score is a crooked number up there, but

00:05 we just gotta keep growing as a group.

00:08 We did enough tonight, which was good, and it started with a guy on my right here.

00:11 We got a little bit of a flash of what he's capable of in that role and

00:16 what he's gonna be.

00:17 And so what I've said,

00:18 there's a lot of things to be excited about with a lot of these young players.

00:21 And I know we've got some veterans in this group, but that freshman class got

00:24 a chance to have some pretty special players in it.

00:26 Kind of highlighted by what you saw tonight.

00:28 Zane was outstanding.

00:29 Matty Heiberger, absolutely outstanding coming in.

00:32 Obviously, Pierce George, an older player but new here.

00:34 Came in and was, I mean, that was electricity tonight.

00:37 And then Jansen Kenti, I'm telling you, coming into a 12-0 game like that,

00:41 it's not always the easiest thing.

00:42 And he pounded the strike zone, he spun the breaking ball for strikes.

00:45 And it's gonna be a big arm.

00:46 And I told those guys, we're gonna keep giving you bigger and bigger roles,

00:48 cuz they've earned it and they're responsible for that and they can do that.

00:51 So good night, obviously.

00:54 I actually would have loved to be a little bit more consistent offensively early.

00:58 But that's kinda normal this time of year.

01:00 Like I said, we're not expected to be a finished product in February, but

01:04 we gotta keep growing, keep getting better.

01:05 But we did enough.

01:06 And those two middle innings there, we were gonna hang some crooked numbers and

01:10 kinda run away with that thing.

01:12 So the focus stayed there, the energy stayed there.

01:15 We just gotta execute offensively a little higher level.

01:17 But I mean, if I'm sitting here complaining about a 12-0 game,

01:21 it's a pretty good place to be.
