00:15 more than 4,000 acres or almost 2,000 hectares of coral reefs were destroyed
00:20 due to the construction of China's artificial island.
00:23 Through dredging and landfill,
00:26 more than 6,000 acres of coral reefs were destroyed
00:30 due to the giant clam harvesting of Chinese fishermen.
00:33 According to the think tank,
00:35 China is doing extensive dredging and landfill
00:38 to strengthen their structures in the territory they are stealing.
00:42 It will take decades before the coral reefs are destroyed.
