00:00 A suspect was fined P15 million after he said he scammed more than one Filipino fan of Taylor Swift.
00:09 Among the victims, Sparkle artist Sofia Pablo, you're always the first in the news of Jonathan Andal exclusive.
00:16 Instead of the Eras Tour in Singapore, a Swiftie or fan of Taylor Swift was caught in the NBI
00:28 after asking for a scam when he bought a concert ticket.
00:31 The total that I paid for four tickets is P98,000.
00:35 I found him in the group, in the Eras Tour group.
00:40 So we posted there, like, "I'll vouch for you, is this legit?"
00:46 Then I saw that there are people who vouch for him.
00:49 But he didn't go alone.
00:51 There are more than 150 Swifties who were enchanted with the tickets of one person.
00:57 And the fulfillment of their wildest dreams of watching Taylor get caught,
01:03 the endgame of the scam is that P15 million was stolen from the Swifties.
01:10 P250,000, four tickets.
01:13 Total of P401,000.
01:16 The total is P70,000.
01:18 We saved that in college and scholarship money when my boyfriend got caught.
01:25 Mine came from my mother, which is a single parent.
01:30 Our sister's is a gift from our cousin in Canada.
01:35 Even the GMA Sparkle artist, Sofia Pablo, was also scammed here.
01:40 She was even shown a fake email screenshot of the ticket master who voided the seller's account due to reselling tickets.
01:49 She was surprised to learn that there are many victims.
01:53 One of the victims filed a complaint against the FBI.
01:57 But we are jealous of them because they can't handle this alone.
02:02 The victims looked for an online seller because the tickets were sold out quickly.
02:07 To prove that the seller is a legit, the suspect sent an ID and a selfie.
02:12 He also met up with other victims to sign a contract of sale,
02:17 which states that if he didn't give the ticket, he will be charged.
02:22 This was last week when the tickets for the concert in March 2 were supposed to be given.
02:28 The suspect couldn't give it because he had a problem getting the authorized ticket seller.
02:34 I told him that he will refund me if he can't give me the ticket, but he didn't reply.
02:40 There are still people who will file complaints against the FBI to make the case stronger.
02:45 Look what you made us do.
02:47 I hope your rehearsal tour continues because for sure, many people will attend.
02:51 I hope you do the right thing by returning all our money and you will pay for what you did.
02:58 This is the first news. Jonathan Andal for GMA Integrated News.
