00:00 Meanwhile, not at the concert but at the office of the NBI,
00:04 the true fan of some Filipino American pop superstar, Taylor Swift,
00:09 was scammed by more than 100 Swifties who bought tickets online
00:15 from a man who claimed to have access to tickets for the ERA's tour concert in Singapore.
00:22 And Ian Cruz was caught.

00:39 The biggest concert tour in the world is coming to Southeast Asia this March.
00:46 That's why many Filipino fans can't wait to see the ERA's tour of pop superstar Taylor Swift in Singapore.
00:55 [Music]
00:58 But last July, tickets for the concert were sold out at 4 o'clock in the official sellers.
01:06 Along with the unreachable Diehard Swifty, whose real name is Jenny,
01:11 she was scammed by other online buyers.
01:14 A friend told her about a man who claimed to have access to tickets for the ERA's tour in Singapore.
01:21 He showed proof of his transactions with other people.
01:26 Then there were those who vouched for him,
01:28 even to the point that he mentioned that he sold tickets to social media influencers and celebrities.
01:37 Even though he was paid P65,000,
01:40 he was given a fake ticket through online banking from a man who promised him that he would get the ticket two weeks before the concert.
01:51 But when the deadline came,
01:54 he couldn't contact the man who introduced himself as Tuguegarao Cagayan.
01:59 "People started commenting on him. It turns out that we're a lot."
02:04 So instead of the concert, Jenny went straight to the NBIC's cybercrime division to complain about the man.
02:12 "I saw a lot of Facebook posts that he was being vouched for.
02:16 A lot of people commented that he's legit.
02:18 I didn't ask. I didn't have the idea that this man is a fraud."
02:24 "We know the risk.
02:27 But because we want to watch, because we're fans,
02:32 that's the only thing that makes us sad.
02:35 We just want to enjoy."
02:37 According to the NBIC's cybercrime division,
02:40 in total, there were about 100 victims of the ticket seller.
02:45 Among them was their "sparkle artist" Sofia Pablo,
02:49 who based on her statement, started to auction concert tickets in August.
02:54 She had a reseller in mind but had a problem,
02:57 so Jenny hoped that the man would get a ticket and pay for it, but he didn't get anything.
03:05 The NBIC's order was to buy concert tickets from the ticket office so that the victim wouldn't be harmed.
03:12 "Be careful. It's not because someone vouched, it means that it's a real person who vouched.
03:15 And it's not because they sent an ID, it means that it's really them."
03:19 But it turns out that not only in the Philippines,
03:22 the online marketplace in Singapore, Carousell,
03:28 has announced that all the listings of the ticket sellers are being removed
03:34 because of the increase in the number of tickets sold.
03:37 Jenny, who is a scammer,
03:39 never said die when she watched the concert of the idol.
03:43 She has a new partner, but this time,
03:46 she won't let go of the payment of the ticket if it's already in the venue in Singapore.
03:53 "It's on the left. Once it's in the venue, I'll pay."
03:58 For GMA Integrated News, Ian Cruz, Kapatulok, 24 Hours.
