Jans speaks about trying to play his style of basketball

Chris Jans speaks to the media ahead of the Kentucky matchup.

00:00 Like I've said before, that's something that's talked about a lot.

00:04 But the other team is trying to impose their style on you.

00:10 And they're doing things within the game to ensure that they get

00:15 the possessions up, that you get into some up and down situations with them.

00:21 And it's hard.

00:24 Two teams that are got some different styles, obviously, in this particular game.

00:28 And we're certainly gonna be trying to play our style and

00:31 they're gonna try to play theirs.

00:32 And we're hoping that for a majority of the minutes,

00:37 the game unfolds where we would like it to unfold.

00:41 And I'm sure they've got a different opinion of like that.

00:44 But it's easy to talk about and it's easy to game plan for.

00:49 But it's not practice.

00:51 You can't stop and explain why we shouldn't take that shot or

00:55 why we should have done this or that.

00:58 And it just plays out like it plays out.

01:01 So it's difficult.

01:02 It's difficult and they're really good at what they do.

01:05 I mean, I don't know if they're the leading scoring team in the nation.

01:09 But if not, they're right there.

01:11 I don't know all that for a fact, but

01:13 I know they're one of the leading scorers without teams in the nation.

01:16 And certainly our job is to try to figure out a way to slow them down some.
