00:00 Rook is a contemporary circus company. We're based here in Launceston. We founded as a collective in
00:05 2021 and since then we've become a not-for-profit and so we produce high-level really exciting shows
00:11 like this one but we also do a number of outreach programs in the community, work with children and
00:16 small communities around the state. So we are taking over this amazing gym and we're turning
00:21 the whole space into an immersive show and nightclub experience. So it runs from 9pm to 1am
00:28 and there are two different phases of the night. You can come for the show for the first hour or
00:32 you can come to the club experience for the last three hours of the night. And so on arrival you'll
00:36 be offered the opportunity to take an orange sweatband which looks like this. And this sweatband
00:46 is not a ticket, it doesn't let you in or out of the venue. What it means is that it's an
00:51 indication to the performance that you are happy to be approached. So if you're wearing a wristband
00:56 the performance might approach you and involve you in some of the action. If you take it off
01:00 they won't come near you. We're interested in people having a good time of their own nature.
01:05 So if someone has a good time by just sitting in the back and watching what's going on then that's
01:09 absolutely what we want them to do. If someone is really interested in involving themselves in the
01:14 activities that we've got going on then that's what we want them to do. We're really aiming to
01:17 create different opportunities for people.
