00:00 Beating Georgia is a significant win for Cal softball. Georgia had beaten three
00:06 ranked teams coming in UCLA, Oklahoma State, Florida State, all of which were
00:12 really strong softball teams. Cal has split with Georgia over the weekend. Cal
00:19 still has a game scheduled for tomorrow against Boise State at Stanford. I don't
00:24 know whether they'll get that game in or not, but if Cal wins that game it'll be
00:27 interesting to see where Cal is ranked next week in the four polls. Cal is
00:33 somewhere between 20th and 24th in all those polls and Georgia is anywhere from
00:38 third to fifth in those polls. So we'll just have to see what happens. It looks
00:43 like Cal is a legitimate team. Pac-12 play starts next week against Oregon and
00:52 then we'll really have to start to see whether this Cal softball team is
00:57 as good as its early success suggests.
