00:00 >> Yeah, I think it was good.
00:01 I think just getting off to a good start there in the first inning,
00:04 getting that first guy.
00:06 And then kinda getting a bail out there with that runner at first.
00:08 So just being able to get my feet down and
00:11 feel comfortable right there in the first inning.

00:17 >> Dylan, come to you.
00:18 Coach Simona's talked about, you started the season off plenty strong on
00:23 the defensive end, but kinda got in a slump that first week on the offensive end.
00:28 But you feel like you kinda got that monkey off your back tonight?
00:31 >> No, it was just a day at a time.
00:34 I feel like I started looking too big at the big picture.
00:40 So just going back to my simple mindset of just going one for one every at bat.
00:46 And that one for one could be getting a hit or just doing the job.
00:50 So just getting that mindset of just one at bat at a time and
00:54 just see where that goes.
00:55 >> See, Connor, it seems like you're starting to get going a little bit here.
01:00 I know it feels good to get out there.
01:02 Even when you come in off the bench and get some hits.
01:04 But even that last one you hit today was an absolute frozen rope.
01:08 Please kinda take us through where you are right now and how you feel at the plate.
01:11 >> I mean, I feel great.
01:12 I started off slow.
01:14 I think that was a little bit, trying to do too much.
01:18 A little bit of pressure in there, but I'm really settling in now.
01:22 It feels good.
