00:00 Nia Jax, yes, she's not like most girls and she's easily one of the most despised and
00:07 notorious women of all in WWE. Yes, known for those injuries she's inflicted on
00:14 other superstars, but this isn't the same Nia Jax from her first run in WWE.
00:20 She may have fallen short of Rhea Ripley at the 2024 Elimination Chamber, but she
00:27 may have vented that show in front of 50,000 plus. Her stock hasn't fallen at
00:33 all and we're entering the biggest season of all for WWE. So in the fallout
00:39 of all of this, let's jump into why we think Nia Jax joining the bloodline
00:45 would be best for business. This is Sportskeeda Wrestling, I'm Kevin. Let us
00:50 know what you think of this in the comments below. So just to map this out
00:54 for a bit, we don't need to go too deep into the Onoahe family tree. Looking at
00:59 the smaller side of the Samoan family tree of wrestling, High Chief Peter Maivia's
01:05 family, you'll obviously know that his grandson is none other than the current
01:10 High Chief The Rock. That's right, he is the actual designated High Chief. Nia Jax's
01:16 father, Joseph, is the cousin of The Rock's grandfather, Peter Maivia, so she is
01:23 connected to the bloodline, just a little bit distantly. That doesn't take away
01:27 from the real Samoan blood that runs through her veins, and since she is one
01:33 of the very few superstars in WWE who could actually make this claim to be a
01:37 part of this legendary family, she is the best choice for a female addition to the
01:43 bloodline. Why does the bloodline need a female member, you ask? Simple, to hit the
01:48 refresh button. And what looks like another year-long story with members of
01:53 the Samoan family, and how do you keep that going with some of those members
01:57 being part-time players? Maybe you utilize some full-time players who were
02:02 already there and already have a familiar connection. It should be said
02:06 that this Nia Jax has really dialed in her act in WWE. She truly is the monster
02:15 force within the women's division that is needed, and she still has a lot to
02:19 prove, so why not put her in a spot where she could become maybe the biggest star
02:24 she can possibly be. Her in-ring prowess is truly polished now, and she shines as
02:31 someone who can really inflict the pain. Good old Papa H, running creative, has
02:36 done an incredible job reviving her career, and she's had a quick rise in
02:40 2024, starting with that big upset over Becky Lynch at day one's New Year's
02:46 Eve edition of Raw. She won clean, by the way. After an impressive Royal Rumble
02:52 performance with eight eliminations, she dominated Rhea Ripley throughout their
02:56 rivalry before just falling short in front of Rhea Ripley's home country
03:02 crowd in Australia. And then given that it was her home country, we didn't think
03:07 she was gonna win the match, but she still delivered a remarkable performance
03:12 in comparison to some other matches in her past that maybe some people don't
03:16 think are as good. This is a different Nia Jax. Also, Nia Jax is getting those
03:22 reactions. The crowds are booing her. If she's the baddie, they're booing the baddie,
03:27 and she is nailing her part. If you see footage from Nia Jax at the latest WWE
03:33 live events, they aren't even televised, you can tell that these reactions are
03:37 getting louder and louder every single week. If that isn't proof she can be a
03:42 superstar that plays that villain role, then what is? Also, she's really enjoying
03:48 it. She seems to truly bathe in the hatred and get more powerful within it.
03:53 Just look at the promo she caught at the Elimination Chamber press event, where
03:58 she revealed her roots based in Australia, but got the crowd to boo her
04:03 when she said she was so proud to leave this awful place. Now that we know that
04:09 Becky Lynch is set to face Rhea Ripley for the WWE Women's World Championship,
04:14 there's an opportunity for a well-timed shake-up. And what do we mean? There are
04:19 two major things that can completely change the landscape of the women's
04:23 division. One, Becky Lynch winning the Women's World title from a red-hot Rhea
04:29 Ripley at WrestleMania. And two, the WWE draft. Assuming the draft happens at some
04:35 point in the near future, which it could, then WWE has the chance to rebalance the
04:41 women's division, reset the deck with a little more evenly matched talent. We say
04:47 this because SmackDown's women division is pretty stacked. So let's take a
04:52 hypothetical situational look at where your two women's champions could land
04:57 after WrestleMania, if they are new champions Becky Lynch and Royal Rumble
05:03 winner Bayley. Given that Bayley has been associated with SmackDown for half a
05:08 decade now, with a lot of Raw appearances under her belt, it's a good time to shift
05:13 her over to Monday Night Raw while Becky Lynch moves back over to SmackDown,
05:17 taking the Women's World title with her. Do you know who else should go to
05:20 SmackDown? Nia Jax. And this is where you can set up a moment post-draft where the
05:27 formidable Nia Jax helps the treacherous and evil Bloodline take out another big
05:34 male superstar. She certainly has the power to do that. She's one of the only
05:40 women in WWE who can, for that matter, and make it look and feel legitimate. Nia
05:46 Jax to the Bloodline would send shockwaves and add a whole new life to
05:51 the group that has been, you know, struggling to maintain the momentum they
05:56 had over a year ago. A female addition is exactly what they need and all WWE
06:02 needs to do to keep her and Becky Lynch apart for a few months. Since Rhea Ripley
06:08 would have touched a year as champion by the time WrestleMania 40 comes around,
06:12 it makes sense to give Becky Lynch a shorter run, assuming she beats Rhea Ripley.
06:16 And the perfect transition would be to have Nia Jax beat her at Summerslam and
06:22 become a dominating, despised Women's Champion for the first time in six years.
06:29 Think about this. By Summerslam 2024, there might be no gold in the Bloodline
06:35 if things play out the way we feel they could. So you can imagine the boost of
06:40 star power and championship credibility Nia Jax in this hypothetical scenario
06:46 would be as the only person in the Bloodline to hold gold. The Rock being in
06:51 the Bloodline for the foreseeable future gives you another good reason for him to
06:55 bring in his cousin and make her feel like an even stronger star next to him.
07:01 If WWE could pull this off by summer's end and make the Bloodline even hotter
07:08 than it's been, that's going to be a huge achievement in and of itself.
07:12 Because there aren't many storylines that can go on this long and still feel
07:17 this relevant. Some of you might be thinking, since The Rock is a part of the
07:21 Bloodline, doesn't that mean his daughter Ava will be one brought in as
07:26 the female edition? She's currently the GM of WWE NXT and still finding her feet
07:32 in WWE and also having to, you know, deal with the challenge of being The Rock's
07:37 daughter in WWE. But we're not stupid, there was that meeting backstage at WWE
07:43 NXT between Ava and Paul Heyman. What was going on there? Also another possible
07:48 female candidate for the Bloodline is someone who's married into it and is a
07:53 very established fan favorite currently with WWE fans. The recently returning
07:59 Trinity Fatu, known to WWE fans as Naomi. She's married to Jimmy Uso, so wow
08:07 wouldn't that be an interesting addition to the whole possible Jimmy vs.
08:12 J Bloodline brother program. Nia Jax though feels like the right choice and
08:18 even though she didn't become Women's World Champion in Perth, there's still
08:22 bigger things to come, stories to be told, maybe some more faces to be smashed.
08:29 Thank you for watching. What do you think? Let us know in the comments below.
