West Brom fans content after tough evening at QPR

West Brom fans give their reaction to tonight's 2-2 draw at QPR.
Former Baggie Sam Field gave QPR the lead before Mikey Johnston produced another wonder goal to level things up.
Two minutes later Grady Diangana had Albion 2-1 up - but the second half was a backs to the wall job.
Alex Palmer saved a spot kick but the pressure told as Field bagged his second of the game.

00:00 I thought to be fair we were actually lucky to get a point out of that. I thought QPR
00:13 were a very, very good team. They're lying in their position to be fair. We just didn't
00:21 stop the crosses coming in the box. They were actually pressing massively high on us. In
00:28 so far that we actually stopped playing out from the back in the second half. On the plus
00:35 side we scored two worldies. MJ's goal is just unbelievably stunning. Grady's goal,
00:44 a very good finish. Werner, Ricci gives the penalty away with his hands. Up above his
00:52 head is ridiculous. Alex gets us out of jail with that and then makes an even better stop.
01:00 Couple of minutes later from the header. Fair play to Carlos for bringing an extra defender
01:06 on. Sheered us up a little bit and we looked a lot tighter when the balls were coming into
01:13 the box. It looked a lot better. I'm happy with the point. I probably have to say on
01:19 the balance of play QPR were a better team but I'll take a point all day long. I feel
01:24 like I'm just catching my breath now. I'd definitely take a point because I felt like
01:29 the second half we were just camping our own half. I feel like these pictures are the difficult
01:34 ones at this stage of the season when you go away from home to the teams at the bottom.
01:37 But the fact we've grinded out a point, we've gained another point on Norwich. So fingers
01:42 crossed we can keep this going now until the end of the season. But that was tough. We've
01:45 got to do that every week. My goodness me, I feel like I'm going to lose all my hair.
01:49 I'm happy with the point though. On loan, they say don't fall in love with loan players
01:52 but he's looking incredible. Shout out to our two goalkeepers, Alex Barber and Cedric
01:56 Keefe. What a save in the second half. Choked with a draw because my goodness me they put
02:03 us under some pressure. I think our fixture, our running is difficult. We just had a tough
02:08 running but I think this one we've got now, we've got a waiter here, a waiter on the
02:12 side, a waiter stove. Those teams at the bottom are fighting for their lives. These are, people
02:17 are singing, people are going to be... These are the fixtures that are really tough and
02:20 I feel like they've just been less than last weekend. So I'm just pleased with the point.
02:24 We'll take a bite here tonight.
02:25 That was a bit eventful, wasn't it? They go down, I'll eat my hat. What a good team they
02:34 are. But two wonderful Albion goals after going behind. We've never got control of
02:40 the ball. They just really put us under pressure. How we come out of that with a draw is incredible.
02:50 I mean, Palmer messed up for the first goal but end of the day, messed up but then was
02:59 fouled or died. So it should have been a free kick before the ball was put in the net.
03:05 And then he makes them all safe, doesn't he, Kipri? I mean Palmer. How do we get over that?
03:11 That's Albion. On to the next one. See what we can do next time. Brilliant stuff.
03:19 A lot of talkie points from that game. We got away with one to be honest.
03:24 When we went 1-0 down, there's not a lot of goals in our games.
03:30 Micah Johnson doing Micah Johnson things. I thought it was Reach to start with but yeah,
03:35 of course it was Micah Johnson. And then Dean Gardner, he just keeps popping up in the right
03:41 place at the right time. He's got a lot of goals and assists and it's what's keeping him in the
03:47 side. Our general gameplay, I thought we was poor tonight. I say I think we got away with
03:54 one a little bit. We're going to Huddersfield but the points are ticking over. We're in a nice
03:59 position. We're not going to catch the teams above us. We don't need to be winning games.
04:04 Keeps it ticking over. Obviously there's a penalty. Apparently shouldn't have been a penalty
04:10 but then Kipri's handed one off the line that we've got away with. We used to do well against
04:17 QPR so it's been weird not beating them. It's another away game. It's another, I'd say,
04:24 positive result over the 1-4 in their last six. Onto Huddersfield on Sunday. Hopefully
04:30 we can put up the three points there.
