The Bulldog pitching staff has done a complete 180 from a season ago.

00:00 A Mississippi State baseball team is currently on a six-game winning streak
00:05 and the driving force behind that is the Bulldogs pitching staff. Last year the
00:11 Bulldogs struggled mightily on the mound with a 7 ERA overall in a 9 ERA in
00:17 conference games. This was bad enough on former Mississippi State pitching coach
00:22 Scott Foxhall that he had to be fired before the end of the season. Head coach
00:28 Chris Limones was tasked with finding a new pitching coach and hired South
00:33 Carolina's pitching coach Justin Parker. Parker inherited a staff that has been
00:40 beaten up for two years and lacked talent compared to its SEC peers. However
00:47 Parker has completely turned around this staff, most notably the starting rotation.
00:55 Nate Domb has been the Friday night starter for Mississippi State and shown
01:00 better control with his electric fastball and newly developed breaking
01:05 ball. Durangelo Segenti has been the Sunday starter for Mississippi State and
01:11 last year he filled the same role naturally. The freshmen struggled at
01:16 times but the talent was evident.
