00:03 You have that opportunity of two runners on just kind of what was your mindset and

00:06 that at bat and what did you see?

00:08 >> Yeah, so definitely my mindset for that at bat was not let the situation get to

00:12 me stay my zone, stay stick to my plan and not let the runners in the score position

00:18 or the count get to my head and get to put too much stress on me and just play the game.

00:23 >> Kayla talked when asked her kind of about her pitching this weekend,

00:27 she didn't give up an earned run in the first SEC series.

00:30 She gave you a lot of credit.

00:31 Just what's your relationship like and what did you see from her all weekend long?

00:35 >> I love Beaver to death.

00:36 I don't call her Kayla.

00:37 Fun fact.

00:38 I just call her Beaver.

00:39 But I love her to death.

00:40 I mean, she's a ball of fire.

00:42 And I think we complement each other really, really well.

00:45 And I mean, I'm pretty energetic and she's very energetic whenever I give her

00:49 energy, so it's just like a back and forth combo.

00:51 But I mean, she's a little diva up there on the mound and I love it.

00:54 And I mean, I'm there for whenever she needs me.

00:56 I always tell her I got her back no matter what.

00:59 And I think that that's a key part of our relationship that no,

01:02 she's not scared to throw a pitch because she knows I have her back and she knows.

01:05 And I know that she has my back where if I mess up,

01:07 she's gonna get the next batter out and I just love that about her.

01:10 >> What do you think it says about y'all's team?

01:13 You had to win tonight to avoid the sweep and coming off of last night,

01:16 you guys bounce back today.

01:17 What does that say about your team?

01:18 >> I mean, I think it shows we have a lot of resiliency.

01:20 I mean, our upperclassmen, our seniors and juniors kinda made us stay a little bit

01:25 later after the game last night, we talked it out and we were like, okay,

01:28 we just hit rock bottom basically.

01:30 So we're gonna either we're gonna keep going down or we're gonna come back and

01:33 we're gonna glue together and have each other's back, which is exactly what we did.

01:36 And I mean, I think the dugout was awesome tonight and our wolf pack,

01:39 we call them, they were up all night and

01:41 they were just yelling their heads off and it was awesome, so it was really.
