Anger at recommendation to close air ambulance bases

00:00 Well the news that I have just heard has infuriated me. The Chief Ambulance
00:05 Service Commissioner for Wales has written a report which recommends
00:09 moving the air ambulance services from Cynarfon, from Welshpool, to an
00:14 unknown location elsewhere in North Wales. That will have a direct effect on
00:19 our communities and of course these are communities that have collected
00:22 thousands upon thousands of pounds for the air ambulance service. Why have
00:27 people done that? Why have we done that? We've done it because we know this saves
00:31 people's lives. We also know that moving this service will make a direct impact.
00:37 People will lose their lives because of it. Now I do not understand why Welsh
00:42 Government haven't stepped in because this is so essential for our rural
00:45 communities. We know how insufficient the conventional ambulance service is for
00:50 our communities. We will now be considering our way forward. Amongst
00:54 those possible considerations will be a judicial review. Please support us in
00:59 future. We know how much this service means to all of us.
