00:00 Cal got a football commitment tonight from a 2025 quarterback, Robert McDaniel from Houston,
00:10 which is near Modesto.
00:11 He's rated as a consensus three-star prospect by all the recruiting sites.
00:16 About 6'1" or so, 190 pounds, had good stats last year as a junior, threw 33 touchdowns,
00:23 only four interceptions.
00:24 It's interesting, he was recruited by Oregon State and Washington State, Cal's current
00:30 Pac-12 rivals, along with a bunch of other West Coast schools, including San Diego State,
00:36 San Jose State, but also from Virginia, the ACC, which is Cal's new destination next fall.
00:44 So by the time he joins the Bears in the fall of 2025, the Bears will be an ACC program.
00:51 We'll see if he's being recruited by Cal and Virginia.
00:54 He's a pretty good student because these are high academic schools, as we know.
00:57 So this is their fifth prospect in the class of 2025, and it seems like they're off to
