Vox pop: Would you live in Moorfoot, Sheffield, if it was converted into flats?
Transcript
00:00 If I was the right age group then I would, yeah.
00:04 What is the right age group?
00:06 I would say it should be younger professionals, which I'm not at the moment.
00:11 I'm a bit older than I look, so I'm quite happy with the way I am.
00:14 But I can imagine it being a nice block if it was converted well.
00:19 It's got a range of shops, it's got the transport links, it's got the workplaces.
00:24 I think parking would be an issue for that building, because there isn't that much parking.
00:29 If you put 500 flats in there or whatever, you're limiting it to people who can walk or cycle or get public transport.
00:39 Which I think would be a good add to the issue for that.
00:45 I think if I was younger, since I'm working in the city centre itself, I'd probably consider it.
00:55 It's the nice places, but at the moment I've got a family, I've got a dog, I live out in the suburbs.
01:05 To me, I just prefer the countryside.
01:09 Who would it be suitable for, do you think?
01:12 I think the up-and-coming generations, the 20s upwards to about.
01:24 I'd probably say maybe up to the 40s and 50s.
01:29 Is there much to attract then to Sheffield City Centre?
01:33 I think there probably will be. I can see a lot of good developments taking place in the city centre.
