00:08 President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. led the fight for the agreement to rehabilitate and improve the service of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on IA.
00:19 The agreement was made between the Department of Transportation and the winner, San Miguel Corporation.
00:26 The contract is worth P170.6 billion.
00:31 It is expected to give more than 82% of the revenue to the government.
00:36 It is part of the public-private partnership where the facilities in the airport will be upgraded such as runway, aircraft parking area, intermodal transfer, terminal and others.
00:48 It is also expected to increase the passenger capacity of the so-called airport under the so-called project to 62 million passengers per year.
