WHEN Danielle came across Gunnar's quest to marry a stranger from TikTok, she submitted her own video application and within a few weeks the pair had exchanged vows! Speaking to Love Don't Judge, Gunnar explained: "I really enjoyed connecting with people and having fun, unique experiences. So I kind of combined these two things of having fun and trying to get attention, and that led to me wanting to marry a stranger." After getting wed in Vegas, the pair planned to divorce a week after the ceremony, but there was a hitch to their plan. Gunnar said: "After more research we discovered we had to be in our home state together. And it cost more money than we expected. We decided not to go through with the divorce because we were having so much fun together." Danielle added: "We never thought that we would fall in love." But, as time went on, the couple did just that. Despite now being an official couple, Danielle and Gunnar have endured a whole heap of judgement because of their relationship. In this episode of Love Don't Judge, we'll hear all about the couple's unique journey to falling in love and some of the reservations they've received along the way. Reflecting, Danielle said: "I think this relationship works for a couple of reasons, but I think the main reason is that we went into it with literally no expectations."

01:31 So are we doing this?
01:33 And that eventually led to us meeting for the first time.
01:36 We made it to Pittsburgh.
01:37 I'm going to propose to my wife here.
01:38 With me getting on one knee and asking her to be my wife.

01:49 I have always been really into making videos online.
01:51 I'm finally going to do it.
01:53 And of course, getting attention online is the name of the game.
01:56 So I kind of wanted to take it to the next level.
01:58 She was living the lifestyle that I had already wanted to be living.

02:15 And so it was going to have to be something crazy like this to get me to get married.

02:22 We could just road trip down in my ambulance that I live in.

02:26 I bought the ambulance from Facebook Marketplace for $6,400.
02:30 We named it Horton.
02:34 The story was going so viral and a lot of people wanted to be a part of it.
02:37 So we had a chapel reach out to us that wanted to marry us for free.
02:41 Had someone make a cake for us.
02:42 Someone put us up in a hotel.
02:44 Like, it was really crazy that all this stuff was getting handed to us.
02:47 We planned on getting a divorce right after we got married.
02:50 But after more research, we found out that, one, we had to be in our home state together
02:55 in Pennsylvania.
02:56 And it cost money.
02:57 More money than we expected.
02:58 Yes.
02:59 We didn't do a lot of-- I didn't do a lot of research on the back end.
03:02 This is where we spent hours and hours of time just kind of getting to know each other.
03:07 It really happened so organically over a long span of time.
03:12 Because we really were married platonically for quite a while.
03:15 I actually made him sleep on the floor the whole road trip.
03:19 We decided not to even go through with the divorce because we were having so much fun

03:23 We decided to make it a problem for whenever we got into a future relationship.

03:31 Yeah, to the point where we were denying it when people were commenting that, like,

03:39 But that's definitely not going to happen.
03:40 After we got married, our content naturally flowed into posting about each other because
03:47 it's what everyone wanted to know about.
03:48 People had really personal questions.
03:50 A lot of stuff that, like, sometimes you don't even share with people that are close to you.
03:54 Now, like, the whole internet wants to know.
03:56 So that was a lot.

03:59 Most of the negative comments stem from the very first video.

05:22 The biggest one I had from my parents was like, "She's going to steal all your stuff."

05:34 I definitely had more to lose, but we signed an agreement, so I mean, everything was fine.
05:41 I would say the most difficult reaction that I received was probably also from my parents.

05:51 Funny enough, whenever Gunnar was coming to meet them for the first time,

05:56 But he put it away before they got there, so it was just funny.
