00:25 Numerous activities took place in the different provinces of the country to pay tribute to

00:33 the Syrian mothers.

00:36 Women that the nation is grateful for offered the most valuable thing they have in defense

00:41 of their homeland and did not hesitate to send their children to the battlefield to

00:46 fight against the terrorists and their Western financiers and sacrifice their lives in defense

00:52 of their sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of their country.

01:00 In Syria, every family offered four or five mothers among their sons in defense of the

01:05 homeland and the Syrian mother became an example of sacrifice and dedication because every

01:10 time one of her sons falls as a mother, she does not hesitate to send her sons to sacrifice

01:15 their lives for the homeland.

01:17 And today, on her day, the least we can do is to express our great gratitude to our brave

01:22 mothers.

01:23 The mothers of the martyrs represent for us a national and moral clause that we remain

01:29 alive and lantern from generation to generation.

01:32 As a mother of a martyr, I consider that I have done nothing but my national duty in

01:37 defense of the homeland.

01:38 And like me, all Syrian mothers are ready to offer everything they have to keep the

01:42 Syrian flag flying and with this spirit, there is no doubt that we will succeed under the

01:47 leadership of our president and with the work of our brave Syrian Army.

01:53 Syrian mothers are setting an example in consolidating attachment to the family, defending national

01:58 unity and enshrining patriotic principles, a noble action thanks to which the new generations,

02:04 despite all the difficulties resulting from the war and the blockade, do not give up and

02:11 move forward determined to build the future of their country.

02:19 This day is a patriotic date for all Syrians and an occasion for us, sons, to honor the

02:26 outstanding work of our mothers and to ratify that we will follow in their footsteps in

02:33 the construction of the homeland.

02:39 In addition to her prominent role in the Syrian battle against terrorism, the Syrian mother

02:43 has a notable presence in all fields of life as a worker, doctor, teacher, professor, parliamentarian,

02:51 politician and artist, among others, where she represents the driving force in the recovery

02:56 of the national economy, hard hit by the Western coercive measures, and is the main pillar

03:03 of the country's reconstruction process in the current post-war period.
