00:00 We will now have a traffic update on the SLEX where there is a road widening

00:05 along with the increase in passengers.

00:07 And all of that is because of Mark Salazar.

00:11 Pia, the volume of vehicles here in South Luzon Expressway is no longer the same.

00:20 This is probably the 400,000 volume of vehicles

00:26 that will be returning to the provinces of the south that will pass through the SLEX.

00:32 A particular area that is being monitored here is southbound.

00:36 This is the Alabang Viaduct because this is where the traffic will start to the provinces.

00:43 And that extends all the way to Susana Heights.

00:47 So that is 4 to 5 kilometers of traffic.

00:51 But aside from that, in other areas of the SLEX, Pia, the traffic is light.

00:56 It was only 2 in the afternoon when the volume of vehicles in South Luzon Expressway was felt.

01:07 Because the government employees are on half-day, some of them traveled early.

01:12 In Susana Heights, the volume of vehicles has already exceeded 10 to 20 kph

01:18 and sometimes, they will make a full stop.

01:20 But it will be wide before going to South Woods.

01:23 And in Eton, the exit will be slow again.

01:26 The slow and fast travel in the SLEX is because of the road widening project.

01:32 There are portions that will suddenly have 3 lanes and then will spread again.

01:38 Where the road will be narrow, of course, it will be slow there.

01:41 But don't just monitor the traffic, okay?

01:45 Because the cost of delay of the trip will be on your vehicle.

01:49 Are you sure that the vehicle's engine is in good condition?

01:53 The brakes, lights, maybe the tires are small.

01:57 Is the gasoline and RFID content enough?

02:01 Are you in good condition?

02:04 Maybe you're fat or hungry.

02:06 Of course, you shouldn't drink alcohol.
