00:00 The graft trial of Datuk Seri Najib Razak involving one MDB at the Kuala Lumpur High
00:07 Court was halted as the former Prime Minister was under the weather.
00:12 Justice Colin Lawrence Sequeira was informed by Kajang Prison Medical Officer Dr. Mohamed
00:17 Hafiz Mohamed Hoshni, who examined Najib, that the patient complained of a stomach ache
00:23 and had to go to the toilet three times on Tuesday morning.
00:27 The doctor, who had been summoned to the court, added that Najib's blood pressure was also
00:31 low.
00:32 Proceedings had already started when DPP Ahmad Akram Gharib said he was informed of Najib's
00:38 illness by prison authorities.
00:41 Justice Sequeira then asked if Najib would be able to sit through the proceedings for
00:45 the day.
00:46 The doctor, however, said it would not be possible as the medicine he prescribed may
00:51 cause drowsiness and that Najib should rest for at least two days.
00:56 Justice Sequeira said he would end the trial earlier than usual and that the hearing would
01:00 continue on Wednesday.
