00:00 Melanie, what are the team goals for Waratah this year?
00:03 So it's our second year of the competition, so we're just wanting to continue to build on our team, on the skill set,
00:09 and just keep working with those growth pathways from the 23s all the way up to the Champs.
00:14 This year has been a great opportunity to bring some of the other players up from those other divisions
00:20 and actually use those pathways to show that the skills are increasing
00:24 and give them an opportunity to play in this tri-series Champs division and go from there.
00:29 Hopefully we'll win a few more this season and keep building from there.
00:33 Who are the players to watch in the Waratah squad?
00:36 We're really excited. We've got Ruby, who's come up from the 23s.
00:39 I think it's a great opportunity for her. She did a couple of games with us last year and she's a mid-court player.
00:45 We've also got some other great mid-court players that have just got unreal skill set and speed, and that's Kat and Tori.
00:53 We're introducing a new shooter, Christy, who's come over from Sydney. She'll be someone to look out for as well.
01:00 Who's going to be the team to beat this year?
01:02 I'm thinking it probably will be Norths and Souths again.
01:07 They're usually quite high up there, but I know Wests have always been a really strong team.
01:12 Between the three of them, I think it's going to be a tight competition, but with all the skills and all the teams, it's anyone's game really.
