00:05 It's been around for decades, but with new international competitions coming up,
00:09 more and more people are becoming a part of the sport.
00:12 The Quad Nations competition first came to Cardiff in 2022,
00:16 with the city then hosting the European Championships in 2023 at the Principality Stadium.
00:21 It's not a sport that everyone will have seen, but it's certainly on the rise
00:25 and offers people a great route into disability sports.
00:28 It's fast-paced, attacking and at times pretty brutal.
00:32 Smashing, crashing and bashing are a big part of the sport.
00:36 This year's competition will be one of the last international events
00:39 before the Paralympics in Paris later on in the summer
00:42 and will feature some of the best teams in the world.
00:45 This year sees hosts Team GB take on two former world champions in the USA
00:50 who've won it four times and Japan who've won it once,
00:53 plus France who are the current European champions who've won it twice in a row,
00:57 recently in Cardiff last year.
