00:00 Day Fever kicked off at Glasgow's Badas Art and Design on Saturday the 13th of April at daytime
00:05 over 30s disco hosted by Line of Duty actor Vicky McClure and her DJ husband Johnny Owen. The pair
00:10 started the event in Sheffield last year and it was considered a voting success. The demand and
00:15 interest suggested there was a real gap in the market for something like this. In February they
00:19 embarked on an eight-day tour across the UK hosting in locations such as London, Manchester,
00:24 Newcastle and Cardiff with Glasgow being their fastest selling event with all tickets gone within
00:28 a few hours. The pair were DJing alongside John McClure of The Revenant as well as local editions.
00:33 It started at 3pm and ended at 8pm the idea being that attendees can have a great day out,
00:38 dance and party then still make it home at a reasonable hour. It was quite the star-studded
00:42 event with a number of McClure's fellow Line of Duty actors in attendance including Greenock Bourne,
00:47 Martin Comstam who brought a huge energy and was even crowd surfing. Also there was rising
00:51 Northern Irish actor Anthony Boyle who starred in Steven Spielberg's Master of the Air and Derry Girls.
