00:00 Amazon and Italian institutions are renewing their commitment to promote and protect the Made in Italy brand in the world through the third edition of Made in Italy Days, an initiative of Amazon in collaboration with the ICE agency.
00:17 We want to bring the export of Italian companies from 3 billion today through Amazon to 4 billion in 2025. So we have made this commitment and we intend to maintain it.
00:29 When Italy makes a system, it achieves important results, I believe. And today the presence of three ministers here shows the commitment of the government to support Italian companies.
00:44 And the opening to a reality like Amazon, which I believe can be a facilitator between the demand for Made in Italy that exists in the world and the offer we have in Italy.
00:55 During the event, a protocol of understanding was signed between Amazon and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Ministry of Made in Italy Companies and the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forests to promote and protect the authenticity of Made in Italy products and counteract smuggling.
01:13 The agreement provides for a collaboration between the parties to raise awareness of companies and consumers on the risks of smuggling and provide support to small and medium-sized Italian companies for international distribution through e-commerce.
01:25 In these years we have 5,500 companies with 2 million products offered by Italian companies in Amazon's shop windows around the world.
01:38 We also have two small and medium-sized Italian companies that sell on Amazon and have shown the benefits obtained through the digital channel.
01:47 Today, more than ever, through ICE, you can really get closer to this world in a much more convenient way than a few years ago.
01:59 It takes a little courage, but we have a strength, which is that of Made in Italy, which together with Amazon becomes a really disruptive force.
02:07 Amazon is an excellent platform because it provides a whole series of consultants and structures that follow its customers to sell the product.
02:19 From May 27 to June 2, Made in Italy products will enjoy a special promotional window on Amazon in eight countries.
02:26 This will allow customers to buy a wide selection of Italian products, both from the most famous brands and from small and medium-sized companies.
02:33 - Yep.
