01:19 According to the Department of Energy,
01:22 According to ASEC, Mario Baraciga of DOE,
01:25 so far, only a yellow alert status has been issued.
01:28 This means that the supply of electricity is sufficient to meet the needs even though the contingency reserve power is not enough.
01:36 He also added that he is waiting for Unit 1 to return to operation today and tomorrow
01:42 which will produce more than 760 megawatts which is already in demand.
01:47 They are also preparing contingency measures when the time comes when the supply of electricity will reach its peak
01:54 especially now that the heat is intense.
01:57 First, if we will have a rotational brownout,
02:01 our answer to that is our interruptible load program
02:06 where the big establishments and industrial facilities are deloading or reducing the use of electricity.
02:15 Second, we are identifying the vital facilities
02:19 that if we will have a brownout,
02:23 we will protect our vital facilities.
02:26 They are the last outages that should happen.
02:30 These are the hospitals, medical centers, and public offices that are delivering services to our public.
