La Salle hopeful on Angel Canino’s return

La Salle hopeful on Angel Canino’s return  La Salle assistant coach Noel Orcullo said that there was no plan to field Angel Canino against Ateneo on Sunday, April 21, but they're hopeful she could return against UST on April 27 or in the semifinals of the UAAP Season 86 women's volleyball tournament.  Canino is recovering from a right arm injury that sidelined her for the 5th straight game. She joined the warm-ups on Sunday, though.  La Salle still won without Canino, scoring a 25-12, 25-12, 25-18 sweep at the Smart Araneta Coliseum to rise to 11-2.
