00:00 "Captain Cook? That's not you?"
00:02 Welcome to Ms. Mojo, and today we're counting down our picks for the top 10 TV final episodes
00:09 that explained everything. "Who knows when we'll all be together like this again?"
00:14 For this list, we're looking at the live-action television episodes that gave audiences answers
00:18 to the majority of questions they were waiting for all series long. Also, we'll be covering
00:23 flash-forwards and final outcomes beyond the plot's resolution. Major spoiler alerts are
00:28 in store as we explore how each series ends. What show's final episode shocked you the most?
00:33 Let us know in the comments below.
00:34 10. Daybreak - Battlestar Galactica
00:39 Across a vast galaxy lies a planetary system called the Twelve Colonies of Kobol.
00:44 For years, the colonies have fought against their greatest adversary known as the Cylons.
00:49 "We can't let them go." "Hm, unfortunately I agree."
00:54 "If we do, they'll return one day and take revenge." "It's in their nature."
00:59 When a surprise Cylon strike occurs on the colonies, only one colonial fighting ship,
01:04 Battlestar Galactica, remains intact. Their last hope for survival is to search for a
01:09 mythical planet called Earth. In the sci-fi series' final episodes, Battlestar Galactica
01:14 and the remaining civilian spaceships finally arrive at Earth.
01:17 "Today, our journey is at an end. We have arrived at Earth."
01:24 It's revealed that the future colonists' lineage is the present-time people of Earth,
01:36 which also consists of humanoids in support of the Cylons and early humans.
01:41 "She lived in what is now Tanzania over 150,000 years ago."
01:46 "Along with her Cylon mother and human father."
01:52 This means we were watching the past and not the future this whole time.
01:56 We're still in orbit with our shock and awe over this revelation.
01:59 9. Mr. Monk and the End - Monk
02:03 This show stars Tony Shalhoub as the titular ex-police detective. After the trauma of his
02:07 wife's murder, Monk returns to crime-solving as a private investigator with the help of his friends.
02:12 "Is this a joke? Someone tries to kill my husband and you send in Rain Man?"
02:18 "Mrs. St. Clair, I can assure you, Mr. Monk's involvement is an indication of just how
02:22 seriously we are taking this case." He closes almost every case, except his wife's death.
02:28 In the series' finale, Monk finds a video made by his wife Trudy, in which she shared that she
02:33 had a past relationship with a man named Rickover. "Sweetheart, I am not perfect. I made a mistake.
02:39 A big mistake. It was 15 years ago. Before we met, I had an affair."
02:49 This affair resulted in a child, who was believed to have died shortly after birth.
02:54 Later, Monk faces off with Rickover, who confesses to killing Trudy to keep the affair secret.
02:59 Before Rickover takes his own life, he says a few words that we later discover mean that his child
03:05 with Trudy is alive. So our tissues were ready when Monk saw Trudy's daughter for the first time.
03:10 8. The Last Forever - How I Met Your Mother
03:22 We begin with a story about a father, Ted, telling his kids how he met their mother.
03:26 "Kids, I'm gonna tell you an incredible story. The story of how I met your mother."
03:32 "Are we being punished for something?"
03:34 "No."
03:35 "Yeah, is this gonna take a while?"
03:37 "Yes."
03:38 But the mystery for us became not how, but who is their mother. We place pieces together as we
03:44 follow Ted, Robin, Barney, Marshall, and Lily throughout the sitcom's many seasons.
03:48 In the last episode, we're finally told about Ted meeting Tracy under her umbrella in 2013.
03:54 "Excuse me. Hi."
03:56 "Hi."
03:56 "I'm the —"
03:57 "The best man. Yeah, get in here, get in here, get in here."
03:59 "Oh, thanks. Here, let me."
04:00 "Oh, okay. Thank you."
04:01 "Great show tonight."
04:03 "Oh, thank you."
04:04 Ted becomes aware of that exact forgotten umbrella, and they suddenly realize how they've
04:08 always just missed each other so many times in the past. While we're then shown parts of their
04:13 love story, Ted's wife and the kid's mother Tracy ultimately passes away in 2024. When it's all said
04:19 and done, his children make him realize that he loved Robin in his past as well, and that it's
04:24 okay to take another chance at love.
04:26 "This is a story about how you're totally in love with Aunt Robin.
04:29 And you're thinking about asking her out, and you want to know if we're okay with it."
04:32 Ted later reunites with Robin with hope for the future.
04:35 7. To Right the Wrongs of Many - Orphan Black
04:40 This thriller commences with a chill as Sarah sees a woman,
04:43 who matches her likeness, take her own life at a train station.
04:51 Due to her curious nature, she assumes Beth's life. While studying Beth's past,
04:56 Sarah discovers that she is a carbon copy from a sinister cloning trial.
05:00 Along the way, she finds her other clones like Allison, Helena, and Cosima.
05:05 "We're clones. We're someone's experiment, and they're killing us off. Is that helpful?"
05:09 In the final episode, Sarah takes down P.T. Westmoreland, aka John Matheson,
05:15 a neolutionist leader behind the illicit cloning experiments.
05:18 Later, we see the sister clones' futures. Allison and her husband are living peacefully,
05:23 Helena is caring for her babies, and Cosima is healing the rest of the clones.
05:28 And we finally get to see a tranquil Sarah with her daughter and Felix.
05:32 "Okay, let's go, you guys. We ready?"
05:35 "Yes."
05:36 "Felix, you got the food?"
05:38 "Seven cold beer and a pork pie."
05:40 "Nice, okay, you're driving then."
05:42 "Where's my fishing rod?"
05:43 6. One Last Ride - Parks and Recreation
05:47 In Pawnee, a hopeful Leslie Knope is second in command at Parks and Recreation.
05:52 Even though she's at odds with Ron, the department head, Leslie strives to do her best.
05:56 "Who knows what the future holds for me? Maybe I'll leapfrog Ron's job and become city manager.
06:02 Of course, my first act as city manager would be to double the size of the parks department.
06:06 Although I do expect a fight from Ron."
06:10 While leading and dreaming of the presidency, she meets her eventual husband, Ben.
06:14 As everyone fights for their community, lasting friendships are made and journeys collide.
06:19 In the finale, flash-forwards show how they help each other live their dreams,
06:23 like starting new businesses and trying new job opportunities.
06:26 "As you all know, Tom's Bistro has been presented with a huge expansion opportunity."
06:30 "I don't want to make a decision until I hear from my senior advisory board,
06:34 so is this a good idea?"
06:35 Meanwhile, they watch their kids grow and connect with one another.
06:39 Also in this future, Leslie is now Indiana's governor.
06:42 But the biggest flash-forward reveal is the appearance of the Secret Service at Leslie
06:47 and Ben's side during Gary's funeral, which implies that there's a president in our midst.
06:51 "Rest in peace, friend."
06:52 "They spelled his name wrong on the tombstone."
06:57 "Close enough."
07:00 "It's time to go."
07:04 Number 5. Whenever You're Ready - The Good Place
07:07 This story begins the moment Eleanor's life has ended.
07:10 Suddenly, she's faced with the bad place or the good place.
07:14 "Your life on Earth has ended,
07:15 and you are now in the next phase of your existence in the universe."
07:19 "Cool."
07:22 When the morally gray nature of Eleanor is told she's been put in the good place,
07:27 it sends her, Chidi, Jason, and Tahani on a journey to discover who judges their morality.
07:33 "I'll go to the bad place with real Eleanor and you three can stay."
07:36 "Yes! We get to stay, baby! We did it!"
07:38 "Wait, no. You're not going. I am."
07:43 "What?"
07:44 "Why?"
07:45 When the system is found to be corrupt, they ultimately develop a system of redemption that
07:49 can get people into the real good place. However, they can also choose to depart from the good
07:53 place once they've had enough. Both Jason and Chidi make their farewells. Tahani decides to
07:58 stay and study to become an architect. Meanwhile, former bad place architect Michael is permitted to
08:04 join humanity with Eleanor's help, while Eleanor herself chooses to make her final exit.
08:09 Number 4. The series finale, WandaVision.
08:20 Following the endgame battle, we wander into a 1950s-era sitcom featuring Wanda and Vision
08:25 living their lives as a cute married couple in Westview.
08:28 "My wife and her flying saucers."
08:30 "My husband and his indestructible head."
08:34 "Aren't we a fine pair?"
08:36 As the decades wear on, Wanda and Vision decide to have a family, but we all wonder if it's real.
08:41 Meanwhile, Agatha befriends Wanda for her power. Monica tries to protect Wanda from the director
08:46 of SWORD. The finale sees Wanda creating a mystical blockade to fight off Agatha,
08:51 while Wanda's vision permits White Vision to access his memories. The Scarlet Witch then
08:56 removes the barrier, says farewell to her family, and vanishes. A post-credits scene later shows
09:01 Maximoff reading The Darkhold, while the eerie sounds of her sons crying out for her are heard
09:06 in the distance.
09:07 Number 3. Everyone's Waiting, Six Feet Under.
09:18 With Nathaniel Fisher's passing, the family business is willed to his sons, Nate and David.
09:24 "Second, I bequeath the company Fisher & Sons Funeral Home and all real property
09:28 and business interests attached as follows." This drama dives into the lives of the Fisher family,
09:33 the workings of their funeral home, and how the complexities of death are faced.
09:37 In the final episode, David considers putting the funeral home up for sale,
09:41 but has a change of heart when he has a vision of his late father.
09:44 "You think you can just walk away from this? Are you really that stupid?
09:50 It only gets closer, David."
09:54 Instead, he and his boyfriend Keith make plans to buy out the other shareholders.
09:58 Following a farewell dinner for Claire and her departure for New York,
10:02 we see the future for the Fisher family. Our tears flow like a river as we see
10:06 each character face something that has enveloped their lives.
10:09 "There's no one else to blame."
10:18 Number 2. Felina, Breaking Bad.
10:21 While teaching chemistry, Walter White's nature was unassuming. However,
10:25 when Walt is faced with terminal cancer, he becomes an ominous force in meth-dealing for
10:29 his family's protection. He starts by enlisting Jesse, a pupil of his past.
10:34 "I'm thinking maybe you and I could partner up."
10:38 Unsurprisingly, Walt's life takes many turns. Thanks to his three identities,
10:43 the life of Walt's lawyer has its own twists and turns, and he,
10:46 too, must ultimately face the music in Better Call Saul's series finale.
10:50 "I'm sorry."
10:57 But it's Breaking Bad's final episode we're talking about here. Having arrived at a point
11:01 of no return, Walt confesses to his wife Skylar that he dealt drugs for his own gain.
11:05 "If I have to hear one more time that you did this for the family."
11:14 "I did it for me."
11:15 He also enacts vengeance on the neo-Nazi gang that he had originally paid to take out Jesse
11:20 after their leader Jack orders Walt's death. Though Walt ultimately takes out Jack and his
11:25 crew, the injuries he sustained during the machine gun fight are fatal. As Walt nears his end,
11:31 we root for Jesse's escape.

11:47 1. The Judgment - The Fugitive
11:52 This crime drama follows a case where the odds are stacked against Richard Kimball.
11:56 Kimball is deemed guilty of the murder of his wife, of which he is actually innocent.
12:00 "For Richard Kimball, this road is not of his choosing, and this day has come too soon."
12:07 However, he has no evidence of the man he saw escape the scene. After desperately searching
12:12 for answers for all this time, Kimball gets his wife's killer to admit what he did.
12:17 "You killed her, didn't you? You killed my wife, didn't you? Didn't you? Didn't you?
12:22 You killed her! Yeah, yeah, I killed her. Why? Of course you wouldn't let me go."
12:28 However, the one-armed man reaches for a weapon while Kimball is distracted by the truth,
12:33 leading to Police Lieutenant Gerard to take aim at Fred Johnson. The murderer then plunges to his
12:38 death off of a carnival ride. Chandler, the only witness, is soon convinced to place Johnson at
12:43 the scene of the crime in court. After four seasons and 120 episodes, Kimball is finally
12:50 granted what he's been looking for, peace. "Tuesday, September 5th, the day the running stopped."
