00:00It feels like maybe about a month ago, there was sort of this popular thing of like, oh,
00:08you know, Caleb Williams, he was such a such a disaster. Those final five games at USC.
00:13He's crying on the sideline. Oh, he's kind of a weird guy. There was that weird quote
00:17that came out yesterday from the guy who was like, oh, he's like a prince played quarterback.
00:21To be honest, I think if you just watch Caleb Williams play, I don't know how you can doubt
00:27this guy's ability to play the game at all. He he's an incredible quarterback, Boomer.
00:32I believe so. And as a matter of fact, when he transferred out of Oklahoma and he went
00:36to USC with Lincoln Riley, we knew two years ago that he would be this draft's number one
00:42overall pick. That's how good he was back then. And he's only gotten better and more
00:47mature. The only thing about these guys coming out nowadays, especially in Caleb's situation,
00:52is that they've made so much money already that they're a different breed of player than
00:57when we came out of college. So I don't know how that affects all these guys. I know that,
01:02you know, he's all over Instagram and social media. We didn't have that to deal with back
01:06then either. So it's a whole nother set of circumstances that they're dealing with. But
01:11I mean, you just watch the kid play. I'm not saying he's going to be Patrick Mahomes, but
01:16he has a lot of Patrick Mahomes type of football in him. And he's probably one guy that is
01:21not going to be intimidated at all when he gets to Chicago. And I got to give Brian Poles
01:26a lot of credit. I said, I think it was back in February, right around the Super Bowl,
01:31they were asking me about, you know, drafting for the Chicago Bears. I'm like, if Brian
01:35Poles doesn't draft Caleb Williams, he should be, he should be fired. So, you know, I, this
01:40has been coming for two years, whoever was going to have the number one pick in this
01:44draft was going to go with him. And I think he's a can't miss player. And I think what
01:48Brian Poles has done for the Bears, their organization, how they've rebuilt this team
01:52relatively quickly in the last three years, and then jettisoning, you know, Justin Fields
01:57tells you that this is the kid and this is the kid is going to hopefully lead the Bears
02:01and finally give the Bears a franchise quarterback for the first time in their history that would
02:06play more than, you know, maybe like three or four seasons there and lead them to one
02:10Super Bowl. This kid has the potential to lead this team to many Super Bowls.
