00:00I'm Brea Marentis here with Chris Halleck. We're here at Globe Wide Field. It's 101 degrees. It
00:05feels like 180 degrees. It's windy. Perfect day for an indoor stadium. I will tell you that.
00:12But I will say that there's a lot of negatives that go to trying to get back to baseball during
00:17a worldwide pandemic. I have been equally impressed with how the Texas Rangers have
00:23really brought a positive attitude to trying to come back during a time where it's not so
00:29I mean, it's very tough. Yeah, yeah, absolutely. Shin Suchu said some really strong,
00:33some strong words a few days ago, you know, about really urging people to wear their masks,
00:37not just for protection for your own self, but for protection of other people.
00:42And we have our masks, just so you know, we have them in my pocket right now. Yeah, it's no, it's
00:47it's really, really good to see, you know, this is really something that the team has really taken on.
00:51You know, they had, you know, they have Brett Martin, who's a positive case. Joey Gallo was
00:55a positive case, and he's back now. But no, really, the guys are, you know, you see them
00:59wearing their masks, you know, you see the guys playing first base, they're wearing their masks
01:03during during play. You know, you're seeing Robinson Trinos, the catcher said he's going
01:06to wear his mask underneath his catcher's mask, because, you know, he's close to the umpire right
01:10behind him, he's close to the batter, you know, so these guys are taking taking the precautions
01:14really seriously. Some of the guys were a little hesitant, you know, a lot of players have opted
01:18out so far, and you know, they have that they have that right to do so. But you know, they've
01:23done a really good job of, you know, really being safety and health conscious, you know,
01:28conscious about everything going on right now. And it's really, really good to see, you know,
01:32especially if if this season is going to have any chance to be played to completion, they're going
01:36to have to be safe. And thankfully, you know, the players have also raved about how well they're
01:41keeping the clubhouse clean. So that's, it's a really, really good situation so far. And we'll
01:46keep our fingers crossed. And of course, unprecedented circumstances, and the ultimate
01:52goal is to win. I mean, you got 60 games, you want to go far. But the real ultimate goal is
01:57trying to keep everybody safe while we can enjoy some baseball.
