00:00The sports world is still at a halt and Joey Gallo is still dominating at MLB
00:05the show Players League. Chris, what is the latest on Joey? I know that he's been
00:10tearing it up. Yeah, he's won 15 of 16 games. So, you know, for any NFL fans who
00:16you know are used to the 16-game record, 15-1 is almost as good as you can get
00:21without being, well, it's as good as you can get without being undefeated, so.
00:24Cowboys fans would take it. Yes, absolutely. And he's got four more games
00:29going on Monday night, so he'll be 20 games into a 29-game season and
00:35if he continues at this pace, he's gonna be the number one seed by far. Wow, so how
00:40does this go? So he has to earn the seed and then they go into a, like, a playoff?
00:4418-playoff and then it'll run pretty similar to the way the MLB
00:48playoffs go. It's gonna be, I think, a best of three and then a best of five, so
00:54not quite as long as regular playoffs. But, you know, Joey's doing a great job
00:58doing everything that he can. He's just absolutely raking. He's outscoring his
01:03opponents like crazy and he's even let people at the show know just how
01:08much he did not like his pictures in the video game either, so. Yeah, you were telling me
01:13this. So his pictures that are in the video game are not very flattering? No,
01:17they were not good. If you haven't seen on social media already, I definitely
01:22look for it because the pictures were not good and if you have the video game,
01:25even the first time I turned it on myself, I was like, that is not a good
01:29picture of Joey Gallo and he was not afraid to let people know at the show
01:34that he wasn't very fond of them either. That's so funny. It's like when
01:38you get your driver's license picture taken. Okay, so I'm wondering when
01:43baseball season actually gets started again, do you think that having this, you
01:48know, video game and them playing amongst each other is gonna maybe incite some
01:52trash talk between a few of the players or how is this gonna play out in real
01:56life? I don't know. I mean, it could go a variety of ways. The thing that for me
02:01that I really enjoy is getting to see the play, you know, a closer look at the
02:04players and getting to see what they're like off the field and, you know, we got
02:08to see even some players mic'd up at spring training, so getting that mixed
02:13along with this MLB the Show, you know, event going on right now. I really think
02:19if anything's gonna push for players to be mic'd during games, it's going to be
02:23that because it's just been absolute gold on social media and MLB could be
02:27missing out on a lot by not getting their players mic'd up and getting fans
02:30even closer access to the players that they just genuinely love to root for.
02:33Right, it makes them very relatable, that's for sure. Absolutely. All right,
02:38well at least the Rangers fans have somebody to watch right now. Yeah,
02:42absolutely, and he's doing, he's number one right now, so he's doing the absolute best.
