00:00You know what's fun? Predicting the Texas Rangers starting rotation with just the
00:05glimpse that we got from spring training. How did it look? Very good. But as more
00:10and more time passes without baseball, we have to wonder what is that starting
00:15rotation looking like now? Well when it comes to the starting rotation,
00:19obviously that was the biggest concern with the Texas Rangers whenever this
00:23whole shutdown started going on when spring training camps were
00:27suspended. The health and the readiness of the starting rotation was going to be
00:32the biggest key because these pitchers have been working since they reported to
00:36to surprise you know back in mid-February. They've been working to get
00:43built up and they were nearly built up for the start of the regular season and
00:46here we are now you know stuck in limbo not not sure you know when the season is
00:52going to actually start. I know Kyle Gibson spoke on MLB Network
00:55radio on Monday morning and he you know talked about you know maintaining a bit
01:01of readiness and the other starters I'm sure will be doing everything that they
01:05can to stay as well and the Rangers understand the risk you know but they
01:08also understand that this is not exclusive to to the to the Rangers this
01:13is something that all 30 teams are gonna have to deal with and it's it's
01:17unfortunate this is just a very unfortunate situation for not just
01:21baseball but all of sports but the starting rotation will continue to do
01:25everything that they can to maintain readiness and obviously the the more
01:29amount of time that MLB gives each team or gives teams whenever they do have
01:34like a spring training 2.0 if you will the more the more time that they get
01:40there the more time that they'll be able to build themselves back up and get
01:45ready when the season actually does get underway.
