Joe Palumbo on Spring Debut
Transcript
00:00So what does two scoreless do for you in your first outing in the spring training?
00:04I mean, I felt pretty good out there.
00:08I was on the same page as Fetty and, you know, just getting a feel for my pitches.
00:14But I thought everything went pretty well.
00:17Joe, what do you think you're doing better today than you did this time one year ago as a pitcher?
00:23Well, if you haven't heard, I put on a bunch of weight.
00:27So I think that's going to help me out in the long run.
00:30But overall, just refining all my pitches, just feeling it out and taking it day by day.
00:35You put a lot of pressure on yourself.
00:37I mean, you had a chance to make a big leap with you last season.
00:40Exactly.
00:41Are you putting some pressure on yourself to be on that 25-yard line at the very start?
00:46I mean, I don't want to put too much pressure on myself.
00:49But, of course, I'm trying to make the team.
00:51I'm doing everything I can.
00:53Just trying to leave the best impression I possibly can every day.
