The LA Clippers no longer have Bumble as their jersey sponsor, but now Honey
Transcript
00:00The LA Clippers have a new jersey sponsor and it is Honey. The Clippers
00:05previously had the brand Bumble as their jersey sponsor in a multi-year deal that
00:09began in 2018. Throughout that time span, Honey has found themselves aggressively
00:14becoming more and more part of the Clippers campaigns, whether it was
00:18becoming their practice facility sponsor, their practice jersey sponsor, or
00:22creating the seal of a deal campaign. The favorite campaign amongst fans that
00:26allowed them to get tickets for much cheaper prices if they came earlier.
00:30Clippers president Gillian Zucker spoke with us about what went
00:34behind the scenes for creating that deal and it was more so just a situation where
00:38the brands aligned in such a perfect way where both the Clippers were
00:42aggressively pursuing fans and becoming more and more of a bigger name and so
00:46was Honey. And this time Honey's figured out a way to sponsor Mr. Beast, Kawhi
00:52Leonard, and Rob Gronkowski. They've been getting every name in the
00:56book and probably the most popular segment and the most you know thing that
01:01fans remember Honey the most for is the iconic Kawhi Leonard commercials where
01:05he's kind of figured out a way to replace Blake Griffin as the deadpan
01:09comedic humor person of the LA Clippers. That's something you can expect more of
01:13too. So the Clippers have a new jersey sponsor, it is Honey, it is a multi-year
01:18deal, and they're hoping to get things in the right start for next season.
